Author's Pov:

Jungkook was in the kitchen making himself ramen since that was the only thing he had in the house. While he was boiling the water, he heard someone coming in. He thought it was taehyung his roommate so he cared less to even look back. But only did he know it wasn't taehyung.

Jungkook heard footsteps coming closer to him but he didn't bother to look back, still mad at taehyung. He felt a hand on his shoulder but pushed it away. The person vigorously turned jungkook, only to see jungkook's eyes widening when he noticed it wasn't taehyung.

"Who are you?" jungkook asked curiously.

"Your death," the unknown man said while trying to stab jungkook with a knife but before he can, taehyung came in a flash of light and stopped the man's hand from stabbing jungkook. Taehyung pushed the man from jungkook but the man turned himself into a bat and flew away from the window.

"Are you OK?? Did he do anything to you?" taehyung said with worry in his eyes.

"no... nothing happened. Before he can do anything you came," said jungkook while processing what just happened. Jungkook was confused how taehyung came so quickly since the door was locked from outside and it still is. "Where did the man go?" asked jungkook. "He jumped out of the window," taehyung said lying not wanting jungkook to know anything about vampires yet.

Jungkook went up to the window and wondered how can someone jump off from 3rd floor. He just shrugged it off and thanked taehyung for saving his life.

Jungkook went back to the kitchen hiding his blushing face. He made ramen for him and taehyung. They both sat in the balcony to eat since it was chilly outside and is the perfect weather to eat ramen.

"Who was that man and why did he try to kill you?" asked taehyung.

"I don't know. I have never seen him before," said jungkook.

Taehyung wondered why will a vampire try to kill a normal human being like jungkook. "Did someone like him try to attack you before?" asked taehyung again.

"Ahhh... I don't know if it was similar but some people did attack my family and killed them and I somehow survived," jungkook said as tears starting to form in his eyes. Without noticing taehyung hugged him murmuring a little 'sorry'. Jungkook didn't think much and cried on taehyungs shoulder like he knew him for years.

Jungkook is not the type of person to cry often and he doesn't cry in front of people but taehyung was different. Jungkook felt safe around taehyung's arms.

Jungkook stopped crying and they both broke apart from the hug. "It's ok... You won't be crying again. I'll not let anything come to you," said taehyung cupping jungkook's face and jungkook smiled a little without noticing.
