Chapter 14:
"Excuse me but, What the hell!" I yelled at her. I stood up from the recliner the chair rocking back and forth. I paced in front of the tv. I sat back down and began to rub my temples, just trying to wrap my mind around this.
"Why? Why?!"
"Well, because we both know Cole, and we know he doesn't know how to handle a kid especially at this age. So using my excellent people skills, I have inferred that you can't either."
"What? Now I respect you" Lie, that is a one hundred percent lie. "I'm not Cole, when we got married you said that we were exact opposites, which leaves a thirty-four percent chance that we won't make it."
"I don't recall" Oh my god she's playing the innocent game, she thinks that her rude comments don't become remembered. She's like the party police always shutting things down and being in control, you should've seen our wedding reception. I remember it like it was yesterday...
I stepped into the limo Cole helped me with my white fluffy dress. It was a silk like material on top with little jewels, the bottom was filled with tool, that's all it was was tool. Cole shut the door before walking around to the other side of the limo. I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear as Cole shut his door. The driver drove off letting the tin cans tied to the back clank across the street once we turned around the corner they dropped. White writing on the back window read 'Just Married'
Coles hand brushed across my face looking into my eyes, his smile was so big it spread to his eyes. He grabbed the back of my neck before leaning into kiss me, our lips connected magical sparks flying. I grabbed his head running my fingers through his dark hair. I pulled back gasping for air.
"I love you" he said
"I love you too" I replied.
I grabbed my makeup bag cleaning up the smudged lipstick. I reapplied some lipstick trying to make myself look presentable. We stepped out of the limo waking into the party zone. My smile was unable to be wiped away.
"Cole, you know how people say your wedding day is the happiest day of your life?" He nodded in response already picking up a piece of candy popping it into his mouth. "Well they didn't lie"
"Huh? Really? Well I have even better plans for tonight" he winked as he finished his sentence. I grabbed him by his button down shirt, I went into to kiss him missing the soft touch of his lips on mine. But instead he placed his pointer finger against my lips, "Your no fun" I whispered against his finger my voice whiny like a little kids.
Suddenly he removed his finger and place a kiss on my neck, I shuddered goose bumps arising. He continued going up my neck until he reached my jaw line. I threw my head back in response the tenderness of his lips on my skin drove me crazy. I pushed his head back as the door opened people flooded the hall. "I'll finish that later" he whispered heading over to great family and friends.

           (Speeches and toasts)
"...I love you bro" Liam finished as people drank whatever was in their cups and clapped. Tears pricked my eyes from the emotional speech Liam gave. I rested my hand on Coles leg as the 'speaker' began to talk, " Thank you Liam. Now up next we have Helena, Mother of the groom" I tensed up from the sound of her name, she walked to the podium before she began to speak, "So as you know Cole is my son, we look nothing alike but trust me that little bastard is mine." the crowd laughed at her joke my muscles relaxed. "So, um I'm a business woman for those of you who didn't know and I go by statistics. So I did some research and Cole and Astrid are nothing alike. My information has told me that they are going to make it five years into their marriage before they get a divorce. There is a thirty-four percent chance that they will die together, married" My stomach dropped at the words coming out of her mouth. I looked around guests mouths hung open in shock. "This wedding that we are all here to witness is a fake" she shouted into the microphone. I took one look at San before she picked up the end of her blush colored bridesmaid dress and stomped up there. "Ok, that's enough" San grabbed the microphone from Helena and said, "Let's all give it up for Helena and whatever that was" I blinked back tears before running into the bathroom...

It was a horrible speech, my night at the Reception ended as multiple margaritas coming back up into the toilet.
"I clearly remover stating the statistics" I blinked my eyes opened wide, I was trying to hold back my emotions but their just coming too strong.
"I clearly remember you saying that our wedding was a fake that everyone came to witness and I don't appreciate it."
"Well, I don't appreciate your language. So here's my card and call me when you make a decision, I'll prep the papers. If you don't call I'll be back once your twenty-eight weeks"
I stood up from the recliner as she slipped on her shoes. I unlocked the door and turned the knob. She handed me a card with her name and number on it.
"Call me whenever, make your decision either way that baby's mine"
"Ohh go screw yourself" I yelled as she marched her way down the leaf covered stairs. The wind blew the trees in the darkness. Tears flew down my cheeks as she got into the cab that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. My muffin she's coming for my muffin!!!
