Three Years Later

A few years have passed since (Y/N) was recruited into the League of Shadows and trained under Adam's shadow and over Ra's Al Ghul's . The young boy has been improving a lot during his stay at the temple. Adam taught him all of the fighting styles he was taught, trained him to handle almost a thousand men, use smoke pellets for quick escapes and distractions, and to always learn to not have anger control him easily. But now, it is a new day, and the time that he must prove if he is worthy to lead the next era of the League of Shadows.

Adam: You shall let the whole world understand the criminal mind and conquer your fears. But...a criminal is not complicated. What you really fear is inside yourself. You fear that you're out of power. You fear your anger. The drive to do great and terrible things. Now...you must journey within it.

After (Y/N) has finally conquered his fears with his blade at the back of Adam's neck, Adam smiled that is own "brother" has finally succeeded through everything he had to experience. They look up to see Ra's Al Ghul clapping in satisfaction.

Ra's Al Ghul: Impressive. You sure do have the true potential of being our worthy successor, youngling. But now, it is time to see if you have the will to act. *snaps finger*

Two members brought out half naked men as they removed the bags on their heads and brought them to their knees.

Adam: These men before you are an example of the evil scum of reality.

(Y/N) How come?

Adam: The first one was raped and killed forty women in a matter of two years. The second went, mugged, and killed over twenty families. These men receive no mercy. Draw your blade, "brother". Strike them down. Prove yourself to be the next successor to all of us. Take your place...as one of us.

(Y/N) draws his blade as he positions it on the neck of the first man. But suddenly, he starts to remember the night that Alfred saved him from his Father. He starts knowing the oath he took upon himself that night. The oath that he doesn't want to be a killer like him.

(Y/N): (I don't serve retribution . I serve justice.)

(Y/N) swings his blade to a lamp and launches into the smoke powder.

Adam: What are you doing?!

(Y/N): What is necessary, Adam.

He then hits Adam with a Spinning Back Kick, knocking him back as the League of Shadows draw their weapons and going to attack him.

Ra's Al Ghul: Stand down! Traitor!

(Y/N) fends off Ra's as the both of them are in opposite sides, but suddenly-

*BOOM*

All of the smoke powder exploded as the whole throne room came down separating (Y/N) from his brothers. This gave him to opportunity to escape as he goes through the back entrance. As he goes through the door, he stops to see am icy slope before him. But suddenly, he gets tackled by Adam as they start falling down the slope. As they were almost near the cliff end, (Y/N) grabs Adam's hand and uses the gauntlet on his other hand to stab the ice to help them slow down. They come to a complete stop as they reached the end. (Y/N) pulls up Adam to the side, knocks him out, and leaves the League of Shadows forever.

(Scene Change)

(Y/N) walks up to a runway as he sees the plane that he requested from Alfred. Alfred lowers the entrance stairs and sees (Y/N)

Alfred: How was your little vacation, Mr. Wayne.

(Y/N): *smiles* Very pleasurable.

Alfred: You look very fashionable.

(Y/N): Thanks.

(Scene Change)

The two guys are now sitting with each other as they are now going back home.

Alfred: Are you coming back to Vale after these few years?

(Y/N) I did plan to come back. No matter how long it may take me. I want to show people...that their city doesn't belong to the criminals, corrupt, rising warlords, and the monstrosities that sense fear.

Alfred: Well in the depression, Thomas nearly drove Wayne Enterprises to bankruptcy to combat poverty and power. He believed that his fair example will inspire the wealthy of Vale in order to save their city.

(Y/N): Did it work out?

Alfred: In a way. But their murder shocked the wealthy and powerful into action.

(Y/N): *nods* But people need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy. I can't do that as (Y/N) Wayne. Cause as a man...I'm just flesh and blood, I can be ignored, and destroyed. But as a symbol...as a symbol...I can be incorruptible. I can be everlasting.

Alfred: What symbol, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Something elemental...something terrifying. Something like...

He then remembers the night when he commanded the bats to attack his Father.

(Y/N): My semblance.

Alfred: So I assume when you are going to take on the underworld...the bat is a persona to protect those you care about from reprisals?

(Y/N) Well, Yes. You...and the possible companions I might have in the future.

Alfred: *smiles* It's  good to hear that from you, son.

(Y/N): Has there been any activity going on in Wayne Enterprises?

Alfred: Well, since the board was waiting for you to have the company at your disposal, I'm afraid it has been taken before you could.

(Y/N): How so?

Alfred: Well, Mr. Earle has publicly took the company last month. He wanted to liquidate the shareholding Thomas made. Those shares are worth quite a bit of money.

(Y/N): Well, it's a good thing I left everything to you during my absence.

Alfred: Quite so.
