Warning:
Ok, so you guys should know what happens next after a wedding, so be prepared for that. (this is the clean version, the full version is next, so you can either read both or skip) Thanks!
As soon as they were through the doors, maids whisked Zelda and Link off again, in separate directions. They brought her to the dressing room.
They switched her heels to flats, and her heavy gown to a light, strapless, shimmering silver, with the slightess hint of purple, dress that flowed around her. A almost see-through train started at the back of the dress (Kind of like Elsa) and extended behind her a small way. They removed her veil and took out the top part of her hair, leaving the waves to cascade around her.
She looked beautiful, and she smiled to herself. Then, the maids led her to the ballroom where the reception would be held. Anyone who could make it to Castle town could come, unlike the ceremony, which was smaller.
The two girls left her by the double doors,
"I really don't understand the royal fashions," she heard him say behind her. She turned toward him, smiling. He had a jacket slung over his arm. It was dark purple and had a light purple sash, with golden shoulder pads, chains handing down from it. She chuckled. That was the more princely attire. He had the first two buttons of his white shirt unbuttoned, and the sleeves were rolled up to just above his elbows. Somehow they had kept him from taking off the crown.
Link's eyes widened when he saw her,
"Woah," he said quietly, stepping towards her,
"Do you like it?" she asked, smilling smally and looking towards the ground.
She felt his arms around her,
"There aren't words for how absolutely ravishing you look," he whispered in her ear. She blushed and smiled.
Link pulled back and held the jacket at arms length, comparing it to her dress,
"They couldn't have given me better? This thing is ugly. Yeah, not going to happen," he tossed the jacket onto a table," We'll just say I wore it," She laughed and rolled her eyes,
"It wasn't that bad," She said, motioning towards it,
"That's a lie and you know it," Link said as a guard came around, motioning to the doors to tell them it was time. He extended his arm. she put hers through it,
"Introducing Mrs. and Mr. Link of Hyrule," The loud voice said from the other side. The doors opened and they walked through, smiling to everyone who was looking their way. People gave Link's attire curious looks, but he didn't seem to notice or care. He led her to the middle of the floor before pulling her into a dance. Nobody could tell he hadn't known how to dance a mere month ago.
The night went wonderfully. They danced, and ate great food, and met many people, most of which Link would never remember the names of, and had a great time.
Finally, at about midnight, they snuck off. The party would probbly last a lot longer, but Zelda was tired, and Link wasn't much for huge parties in the first place.
They had agreed to move to a different room, now that they were wed. A bigger one, that was more fitting for two people.
Zelda walked into it unfazed, having already seen it before, and took off her tiara, before placing it on the desk. Link also took off his crown, but tossed it aside, where it clattered on the ground.
He was suddenly behind her, face over her shoulder,
"They really shouldn't let you wear that," he said quietly. Zelda chuckled and turned to face him,
"Yes I know, you don't think it's fair, compared to what you had to wear," Link smirked before putting his hands on the wall right behind her, pinning her there,
"Well, there's that, but I was talking about something else," he said, touching his forehead to hers. It was getting harder to think,
"Which is?" she asked breathlessly,
"You look absolutely irresistible," he whispered, bending down to kiss her jaw.
Oh. she thought, realizing what was happening. Her heartbeat quickened.
Link pulled back just enough to look in her eyes, judging her reaction. He took her silence as something else. He pulled back slightly, looking more serious,
"If you don't want to, love, I'm not going to-" She put her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her, suddenly sure. It was Link, after all,
"I want you, Link, " she said quietly. He smiled and kissed her deeply.
*Ok, that's where I'm cutting off. Thanks!*
