He stood up just as Quinn slit Dark Zelda's throat. He tried not to cringe. She stood up, blood staining her clothes and some of her hair. She didn't seem to care though.
He closed his eyes for a few seconds and calmed down. When he opened then, they were blue. He felt the power leave his body, and he got the feeling it wouldn't be returning for awhile.
In the distance, a dark hole opened up in the sky, and he saw the mass of monsters start to get sucked up into it. They were retreating, for now,
"I hate to interrupt your thinking, but isn't there someone you should be finding?" Quinn asked, sheathing her rapiers. He nodded and started running. He skidded to a stop, looking back,
"What about everyone else?
"We'll handle the situation, sir Link. Save our Queen," Runiel said, appearing out of nowhere. Quinn was a bit surprised, but she nodded. Link smiled slightly,
"Thanks guys," He said before taking off again. It would be easier now, without all of the demons blocking his view. He went to the top of the small cliff and looked out.

Zelda stumbled out of the midst of battle as the monsters around her started to lift into the air. She had to keep going. Link had to be found.
She made it a few feet before she fell to the ground. She scrambled into a small cave, where she huddled up. The wind was startlingly cold to her, and she needed to rest for a moment. Better to stay out of the way than to worry her people. She just hoped Link would come by soon,
"Finally! A break! Where's the king?" She heard a soldier ask. Footsteps were heard walking over where she was. The person dropped down in front of her and walked toward the man,
"He's dealing with business of his own. We're going to be the ones in charge until he gets back. Let's count our loses and look for the injured," A female voice said. They nodded and turned to leave,
"What about the queen?" One asked,
"Oh, um, we are unaware of her position," Another male voice said, stepping down beside the others. Zelda remained quiet, her eyes heavy. After a moment the girl spoke again,
"Well? Don't just stand there. Let's go!" They all walked away from were she was.
She stayed there for what seemed like eternity. Dusk had started to set, and with it came the chill. She groaned and pushed herself backwards. Could she make it back to town? She remembered she had wandered towards the middle of the field, and the town was pretty far.
She knew she had to do something though. Her son or daughter needed her right then. She pushed herself out of the small hole and stood up shakily.
What if they aren't even there anymore? She thought to herself as she began to walk. What if he killed them? She closed her eyes for a moment. No. She refused to believe that. They were alive and they would make it. She used a little of her strength to warm her hand and press it to her stomach, which she noticed had extended a little. She smiled slightly,
There you go, She thought as she continued on.

Link ran a few more feet before slowing, scanning the area. He had been out looking for her for almost twenty minutes, and so far he had seen no signs of her. How far could she have gotten? Surely any kind of barrier holding her would have been broken by the death of Dark Link.
He bent down to look in a small hole. It was empty,
"Zelda!" He called, looking around again. It might not have been a good idea, but he was getting desperate.
He turned and ran to the left. He ran past Epona's body, but forced himself to keep going. He stopped and looked again, trying to see as much of the area as possible. She started to take off again, when he heard it. The precious sound he had been aching for,
"Link!"
Sorry, kind of short chapter, but oh well. It's winding to a close anyway. Anyway, enjoy!
