Immediately Link grabbed Zelda's hand and ran out of the room, dragging her behind him. He ran up to their room and shut the door quickly behind them.

Zelda didn't even have time to realize what just happened when Link was throwing off his princely attire and putting his tunic back on. He threw off the crown and put his cap on, at the same time he was putting his left boot on. That was a guy who knew how to hurry.

He fastened the Master Sword onto his back and grabbed his shield and a red potion before turning to her. She had hurried out of her gown as fast as she could, considering how huge the thing was, and had put on something much more fitting to fight in. The top had a similar style to her princess attire, but had a high neckline like Link's. It was kind of long, with three sections that went longer than the rest. Her shoulder armor was back. She was putting her hair up when he turned to her, immediately shaking his head,

"Woah. No, no, no. You aren't fighting Zelda. No way, " He said firmly, walking over to her. Zelda ignored him, putting her boots on. She then tried to walk around him to get her sword and bow, but he stood in her way, putting his hands on her shoulders, looking straight into her eyes,

"No, Zelda. This is one of the very few times that I will say no to you, but I will not let you go out there and get hurt. I will protect you. So, please, just go easy on me. I love you too much to risk losing you now," He said soberly. Zelda didn't reply for a moment, just looking at him.

Finally, she nodded, barely moving her head. He let out a breath, obviously relieved she hadn't put up a fight. He then kissed her deeply, hugged her, and walked back to the door, where several guards now were,

"Do everything in your power to make sure she isn't harmed, " he instructed, and they all nodded. He then looked back at her,

"I love you, Zel" He said, smiling smally at her. She nodded, but couldn't bring herself to return it,

"I love you too. Come back, got it? "she replied. He chuckled,

"Yes ma'am, " he then walked quickly from the room, where it closed and was locked behind him. Zelda sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, already begining to panic slightly.

She sat there, unmoving, for awhile. The sounds outside grew louder every minute, and it soon became clear that there was a war going on around them.

Finally she couldn't take it anymore. She stood up and walked over to the bathroom, grabbing her sword, bow, and quiver without the guards noticing. Pretending to just have to use the restroom, she slipped inside and closed the door. She strapped the quiver around her back and the sheath to her hip,

"I'm sorry Link, but I won't stay here while my people, and you, risk their lives,"

With that, she put two fingers to the ground and transported to the stables. She quickly mounted her Pinto mare, Nani. She flicked the reigns and took off towards the battle.

As she rode, she took out an arrow and knocked it. She then went across the bridge, straight into the heart of the action.

She shot the arrow at a demon about to kill a soldier. She then took out her sword and killed many bird creatures flying above her.

Link was nowhere close by as she continued to fight, which made her both relieved and worried. She kept the battle up though. Many creatures recognized her as the Queen, and made a beeline for her. She flicked the reigns and straight up ran them over. She turned sharply and shot another arrow straight into a beast's heart,

"Hello again, Queen Zelda, " A familiar growl came from nearby. Zeldas head whipped towards it, but saw nobody addressing her,

"I'm over here, " It said, from a different direction. Her eyes flew in that direction, but the battle still raged on around her as before,

"Tsk tsk tsk. Someone needs to get their eyes checked. I'm over here, girl, " It said once again. This time when she looked she saw a black fog, swirling around, but still in the shape of a demon's body.

Dayfos.

Nani nickered nervously as the Dark Lord took a more solid shape. He then stood with his arms crossed, looking exactly as he had three years before.

He lifted one clawed finger, beckoning her before he turned and slowly walked towards the pathway away from Castle Town,

"There's a show I think you'll love to see. Hurry now, we want to get good seats, " He chuckled darkly.

Zelda hesitantly flicked Nani's reigns to follow, clutching her sword tightly.
