"There! Done," Link leaned back in the chair, pushing the papers away from him. Zelda looked up at him, relieved. They had been in this office for far too long. They both stood,
"Actually, sir, I was wondering-"Sarth began, walking over to them. Link put his hand up to stop him,
"No. I don't want to see another paper for the rest of the day. Or month*He added, smirking. He grabbed Zelda's hand and led her out if the room before Sarth could protest,
"Whew. It's good to be out of there. Those questions were completely ridiculous. I mean, who in Hyrule cares whether the Servicemen wear 'Pastel Lime' or 'Spring meadow' ties. Are those even colors?" He said, shaking his head slightly*
"They're used to dealing with female royalty, who do care. They'll understand soon enough that you don't.They just...don't know you well enough yet, "She reassured him,
"I guess-"Link started before being interrupted by a guard running down the corridor towards them,
"Your Majesty! We require your assistance!" He called. The guard was sopping wet. Link's eyes opened in surprise,
"What the-Oh, fine. Lead the way," He reached over and kissed her quickly before following after the guard. Zelda continued on her way to their room.
She opened the door and walked over to the desk, sitting down. She began to draw a beautiful scene. She was so engrossed in the art that she didn't hear the door softly close behind her,
"Wow, that's some scenery," A familiar voice said from behind her, "It's so bright and... nausiating," He chuckled. She stood up quickly and turned around. Dark Link stood with his arms crossed. Someone else stood in the shadows,
"Why do you keep showing up?" she asked rudely. He smirked,
"It's wonderful to see you too," He said sarcastically, "I just stopped by to show you my girl. I think you'll think she's as beautiful as I do, "He motioned to the figure behind him. She stepped forward.
It was...Zelda. But more wicked looking. Her hair was white, and her dress was black and gold. Her red eyes burned as she smirked, fluttering her fingers at her,
"Hello, " It was her voice, but twisted and crueler. Even with just that one word it was noticeable. Zelda couldnt hide her disgust.
Link walked forward, backing Zelda against the wall. He put his hands against the wall over her shoulders, grinning,
"I think you'll find that the little... issue we had the last time we saw each other is now resolved. Since, after all, I can touch you fine, " He grabbed her chin, hard, "My precious Dark Zelda will be giving your hero a visit. He won't be able to kill you, even if it isn't you," He chuckled.
Then he saw the gold hoop in her ear. He looked at it confused for a moment," Is that...?," He then jumped back, looking scared and furious," You married him?!"
Zelda rubbed her chin, glaring at him,
"Why do you care?" Dark Link had then hid his anger and fear and replaced it with mockery,
"Him? Out of everyone in Hyrule, you choose him to marry? Wow, you must have lost a lot of brain cells while you were held captive by Ganondorf, " Zelda rolled her eyes, crossing her arms,
"You've shown me your disgusting new pet, so bye, "
Suddenly Dark Link had his hand around her throat, teeth bared,
"Your filthy little hero isn't here to save you now, " He growled, lifting her off the ground. She raised one hand to his, trying to pry it off,
"He doesn't have to be, " She managed to say, feeling her other hand warm. She raised it and shot a ball of light energy straight into his face. He screamed and dropped her. She hit the ground hard.
Dark Link clawed at his face. Dark Zelda gasped and cursed at her before touching his arm. They both disappeared in a cloud of darkness.
Zelda took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
