The 71st Hunger Games

Chapter 13:

I am woken up violently by someone shaking me "Get up! Get up and hurry!" Said  Ablothia harshly. "Keep your wig on!" Is the reply she gets from me. Obviously seeing she has no effect on me whatsoever, Ablothia storm as out the room. Soon after Lazail enters with an odd look on his face. It's one I've never seen before, it's the look of seriousness. "Look," he said "I may not be Blight or Ablothia, but I do care about you and how you do in these games." I snort, trying to stop myself from laughing. Since when has anyone cared about me. "So get up and do your worst!" He finishes off. I laugh at his last words as he leaves the room. I take a long warm shower massaging my skin in a creamy pineapple shower gel. I pull on my hardly used training out fit and tie my hair into a high pony tail. Then I run out my room grab a cinnamon roll from the breakfast table and run into the lift just before it closes. I make a real performance getting out, I rub my eyes until they're red and puffy and then when the door opens I fall on the floor. Everyone laughs. Just perfect I say to myself in my head. I start to pretend to cry, looking down as to try and hide the tears. I take my seat next to Lazail and he whispers to me, "great acting." The time flies by and soon it's my turn. The ladies always go first so I scatter off to the training room. I go straight to the camouflage and trip over spilling paint all down my clothes. I wipe my face with the back of my had pretending not to realise that my face turned red in the process. I then go over to archery and miss three targets. My last stop is sword fighting I grab the biggest sharpest sword and fall over for real at the weight of it. I get up and run out the room. Tears streaming from my eyes. I did well and I was pleased with myself. Now I've got to plan what to do for the interview.
