True potential and a sassy deer

I got up early and went to sensei's room. he was meditating. "sensei?" I said. He opened his eyes and looked at me "yes?" he said. "can I go to ninjago city for a little while?" I asked. "you do not have to ask for my permission to leave. you may go wherever you like." sensei said closing his eyes again. I closed his door and walked to the edge of the bounty. I slid down the anchor and landed in a field outside ninjago city. I walked into the city when the sun was starting to come out. I'm guessing it's around 8:00 am.

There were a few cars on the street, and basically no people outside yet. I walked by a little tea shop and I decided to get a package of tea for sensei. I was about to go inside when I felt a pair of eyes looking at me. I turned to my right and standing about a yard away from me was a white tailed deer. in the city!

I looked at it when It started running away. I don't know why but I followed it. I followed it to a forest and it was just standing there waiting for me. I slowly walked toward it trying not to scare it. it allowed me to come near it. I reached out and touched its muzzle. "Hey buddy." I said gently petting it. there was a blast of light and the deer ran and hid behind a tree.

When i opened my eyes I was wearing a violet ninja gi. my glasses were gone but surprisingly I could see everything clearly. I took off my hood and looked at myself. "who are you?" I heard someone say. "where are you?" I asked looking through the trees. the deer stepped from behind the tree. "you can understand me?" it said. My eyes widened. "I can understand you!" I said. "That must be my true potential!" I said to myself.

"Do you have a name?" the deer asked me. "jhosephina." I said with a smile. this was going to be so cool! "isn't that a boy name?" the deer said stepping towards me. I put my hands on my hips. "aren't you a sassy one? no its a girls name for your information." I said. "do you have a name?" I asked the deer. "no." the deer said sadly.

"Well, it's about time you got one. how bout.... sassy?it suits you" I said. Sassy's face lit up. "that sounds perfect!" sassy said. "Why don't you come back with me." I said. again sassy's face lit up. she licked my face. "your the best jo!" she said. "jo?" I said as I pet her "yeah, I'm gonna call you that. It suits you." Sassy said.

We walked back to the bounty and i was able to get sassy onboard because the bounty was in boat form on the ground. the ninja were training on the deck and stared at sassy when she came on. "this is turning out to be some kind of hotel." Kai said shaking his head.

"Hey, I found my true potential and she's involved." I said petting sassy. sassy walked over to Kai and sniffed him. "this one smells funny and it's hair is weird." sassy said to me. I laughed. "your living up to your name!"i said.

Robbi, Thomas, and aris came out onto the deck. "why is there a deer onboard?" aris asked. "she's my friend." I said. Robbi gasped. "you found your true potential?" she asked. I nodded. "where are your glasses?" aris asked. I shrugged.

Sassy walked up to them sniffing and licking. Robbi and aris pet her but she was more interested in Thomas. she licked him and he laughed. "I like this one." sassy said.

"what's his name?" jay asked. Sassy glared at him. "I am a girl for your information." she said. "she's a girl, and her name is sassy." I said to jay. he came over and pet sassy but then he leaned in "thanks for the tickets, i owe you." he whispered. I winked at him. "what was that about?" sassy asked. "oh, nothing." I told her with a smile.
