Rescue

Jay POV

I woke up with a start because Zane came running into our room panting. "Dude it's like 3 in the morning I said stretching and rolling over. "They took jhosephina!" he said hands on his knees. "what?!" I said rolling over a little too quick and I rolled right out of my bed.

I landed on the floor with a loud thud. "ow...." I mumbled. Kai woke up. "what are you two doing?" he asked getting up from his bed. I stood up. "who took her?" I asked Zane. a puzzled look came over Kai's face "who took who?" he asked me.

"Jhosephina."

"Who?!?"

"I said jhosephina!"

"No,who took her?!?"

"I dunno ask Zane!"

We both looked at Zane. "snakes." he said finally catching his breath. "where?!?" cole said crawling into little ball pulling the blankets up to his eyes. "no snakes here baby." I said with a smirk. "I'm not a baby." cole grumbled getting up.

Cole and Kai used there Spinjitzu to change into there gis. we ran to the deck. we all stood there a brief minute looking at the stars that were still out. then we used our golden weapons to make our vehicles. Zane led us to a tree house. I was impressed because this thing is no baby treehouse, it was HUGE!!!

I has rope walks, traps, probably a concession stand somewhere. I have to admit i was jealous. "this is Lloyd's tree house." Zane said. "uh, how did you find Lloyd's treehouse?" I asked. "I followed a bird." Zane said casually. "um, so why did you follow a bird?" I questioned. "it danced." Zane said once again very casually. "oh, ok. was it a ku-ku bird?" I said.

Cole Kai and I laughed but Zane just looked at us and said "of course not, everyone knows ku-ku birds are not indigenous to these forests." The guys looked at me, I just shrugged. Kai looked at the treehouse. "it looks like its supported by those four ropes, once they're cut this place is gonna go down faster than a house of cards." he said pointing to the ropes. "why would someone make a house of cards? such construction would be careless." Zane said. Kai face palmed "oh boy." I said.

Cole Kai and I climbed the trees that the ropes were attached to. "ninja...go!" I said using my Spinjitzu to cut the rope. I look and see that cole and Kai did the same. Zane disappeared into the treehouse coming out the top a few short minutes later with jhosephina in his arms.

Cole went to the last rope and Kai and I went to the roof. "Cole wait until we're off before you cut it!" Kai shouted to cole who only nodded. we were all struggling to not fall off while standing on the slanted roof. snakes were falling from the treehouse shouting "ninja!" "run!" "we are all doomed!"

"This place is falling apart!" Kai said. suddenly cole jumped onto the treehouse, his eyes full of hatred. "nobody leaves until they go through me." he said stepping forward his scythe drawn. "now cole, friends don't hit friends.." I said before he reached out and punched me in the jaw. jhosephina gasped.

I held my jaw. "ow...oh.. ok, I'm gonna ignore that." I said. cole threw punches at Kai, but he sidestepped every one. Cole stepped back panting. "Jay, shock him with your lightening. maybe he'll snap out if it." Zane suggested. "sorry cole, this is gonna hurt you a lot more than its gonna hurt me." I said swinging my nunchucks and shocking cole.

He flew back and lay there a few seconds. he shook his head and opened his eyes still full of hatred. he ran up to me and punched me knocking me off the side. I screamed as I was getting closer to the ground. I grabbed a vine and swung Tarzan style landing on the tree house with a sigh of relief. "that is a serious safety hazard." I said to myself.

I climbed to the roof where cole was about to cut the last rope . "cole! cole no!" Zane said shaking his head. there was soft music and cole lowered his scythe and stood there holding his head. "what?" I heard him mumble. suddenly I saw the bounty fly from behind some trees with sensei on the deck blowing into what looked like a flute.

The boards underneath me creaked and I suddenly remembered where we were. "we have to get outta here!" I said making my jet. jhosephina got in the back and the other guys made there vehicles and drove away.

"When are you gonna ask her?" she asked me. "um...nya?" I asked her. "no...robbi." she said with a smile. "what? I don't like Robbi." I lied. "jay you are the absolute worst lier I have ever met." she said. I sighed. "Promise you won't tell?" I asked her as we arrived at the bounty.

My jet turned to nunchucks and I looked at her. "promise." she said walking over to Zane

Zane POV

I stood with jhosephina on the deck watching the stars light up the sky. a shooting star flew across the sky. "look Zane! a shooting star! make a wish!" she said closing her eyes. I did the same. I wished for someone to love. I have my brothers and all, but they aren't my actual brothers. I need someone to love me.

I opened my eyes and looked at jhosephina. "what did you wish for?" I asked her. "courage." she replied. I was confused. "for what?" I asked. she took a deep breath. "something I've wanted to do for a while." she said. I was still confused. "what?" I asked her. she leaned forward and kissed me.

She pulled back and blushed. "sorry." she said turning to walk away. I grabbed her wrist. She turned to me. I gave her another kiss. I looked at her. her eyes sparkled. "your eyes are so beautiful, one could get lost in them." I told her brushing the hair from her eyes. she blushed at the comment.

I pulled her into a hug. she rested her hard against my chest. we stood like that for a while. I looked at jhosephina and saw she was almost asleep. I picked her up bridal style and took her to her room where Robbi and aris were still asleep. I lay her down on her bed and gave her a kiss on the forehead before getting up to leave.

She grabbed my hand. "Zane?" she asked in a hushed whisper. "yes?" I said kneeling down by her bed. "what did you wish for?" she asked me. "it already came true." I told her. she looked anxiously at me. "someone to love." I told her. I gave her one more kiss then left to my room.
