It took a good half an hour before arriving at the Manor - nearby my ass. The Manor didn't seem eerie it was just...homey, I guess?
I scan the intricate platings of the roof tiles and the proportional spacings of each window and door and lamp. At the front, there were about four lamps in a row above two identical doors carved with symbols. I chuckle. "What? Are you guys performing witchcraft or something?" I mock, referring to the weird symbols that looked more like crappy doodles to me.
"Actually, yes." Jeff stated, killing my joke and my mood. What a bunch of occult freaks, I hiss in my mind. I give him a suspectful scowl and scoffed as I turn away to pace towards the porch. I dismiss every other detail I hadn't noticed earlier and pushed away any intention of getting intimate with these people.
I grasp the knob to turn it and open the door without a care whether the people inside would get hostile - I can protect myself.
By the time I entered, a tall male greets me with a stutter rimming his words. "Hello!" He gets a good glance at me and covers the mask on top of his mouth with his right hand. He leans to the side to glance at Ben and Jeff and then points at me as if I was a model of some kind. "Is this really- Is she- What?!" He stammered, making an excessive amount of hand gestures around me, and charmingly chuckled.
"Does she...ya'know?" He asked and Ben shook his head. "Oh." The male's enthusiasm dropped and he straightened, clearing his throat. "Welcome to the Creepypasta Manor!"
I glance back and look for "Slenderman" as I question the term Creepypasta.
"It's what we call ourselves, killers." Slenderman's voice comes from inside as if he was invisible, static buzzing and triggering a small temper tantrum. "Would someone stop that noise?!" I demand, pushing my palms in my ears, trying to block it out.
"That's from me, I apologize." Slenderman added as the static hushed down. I stare at the stuttering, timid male with the mask. "Is he always like this?"
"Like an overprotective father? Yes." I arched my eyebrow and I rolled my eyes to the side. "I mean, does he show his face or what?"
"He does." A woman giggled and I groan. "Another invisible woman, great." I crossed my arms as I pushed the masked guy away and looked around. "But dear, I'm right behind you." The woman stated and I twirl around to see a transparent, non-fleshy person. I gasp and stumble back against the couch. Jeff and Ben walk in casually. "Hello boys." The ghost lady greeted and the guys reply with a nod and a wave.
"What are you?! How are you...like that?!" I exclaimed and she giggled. "Sad to say, I'm dead." She announced and I gulped, nodding awkwardly as I walk away.
"What is wrong with this household?" I muttered. I comfort myself by hugging myself as I pace around. Suddenly, a head pops out from the wall. "Do you have a problem with ghosts?" A small little girl in a pink dress startled me as she walks through the solid cemented wall. I feel my heart in my throat and I start to panic.
I backed up and stumbled against Ben and the masked male. On my right, a charming and mysterious man and, on my left, a creep. I shudder and run to the couch to hide behind it. I may have been raised to provoke the feeling of pain but I've never encountered any ghosts. From what I heard from Aloise, ghosts could enter your body and squirm inside you as you slowly die and then they'd control you.
"I believe that's called possession." Slenderman stated from behind and I turn around to see a slightly taller-than-I-imagined man - actually a thousand times taller that I imagined. I raise my gaze up to his face to see that he had none.
I gulped and shivered. "What the hell is with your household?!"
"Please don't be scared of us." The charming male approached me and chuckled as he pats my back. I glance at him to see his unmasked face and his goggles on the top of his head. I examined his ripped mouth similar to Jeff's but less intense. His hair was neat and his eyes were a shining color full of kindness.
I feel my face explode with heat and I turn away. "I need a minute." I announce, sitting down and taking a deep breath. Slenderman kneeled down and gave a small sigh. "This must surprise you...terrify you, even." He muttered, lowering his head. "But I assure you, your safety is ensured."
I look up to the faceless man and I stare in awe at his generosity. After all the years I've spent under Aloise's wing, I have never heard such words come out of her mouth. I feel my heart grow warm with every beat and my words scattered in my mind. Before I could question his intentions, Jeff clears his throat, giving me the opportunity to compose myself.
"Now that we're here...can we talk about your conditions?" Jeff inquired and I nodded, remembering what I was here for. "Of course." I almost hesitate to answer.
"Let's talk business then."

I grow bored as I loom around the kitchen, staring at the cake I am unable to eat. I want to sneak a slice but I would feel guilty to. I wonder if I would've taken the risk before I lost my memory. Was I a badass? Was I popular?
I clenched my hand over the gem on my chest and I sighed. I'm curious...what if I pull this out? Would it kill me? Should I be afraid of it? I shudder the questions away and stood up from my seat. I stretch before pacing to the small library. Have I ever been to a library? I don't spend too much time there because that would just cramp my head with more questions when I already had my fill of them.
I walk past the books and stand by the front of the door. It was a hallway with a door on the end and a fountain on the other end that connected the east and the west wing.
I listen to the rapid splashing of the water falling from the ceiling. Did I fear the water? I spot some light on the fountain's base and assume they were just spotlights to attract visitors.
"Quenly, I'm hungry." I hear Paxton whine playfully and Quenly giggle. I peek around the corner and see them on the couch. "Alright, let's go." Quenly stands up and places her hands on her waist, straightening her posture and reminding me how tall she was - she was like a giant.
"Carry me!" Paxton pleaded and I flinched. Quenly gives out a small giggle but does so anyways. They walk towards my direction and I try to hide in a room with no hiding spots. Before I knew it, Quenly and Paxton spots me.
"Oh! (Y/n)." Quenly smiled and Paxton waved in the arms of a giant. "I have a question." I stated and their attentions stick to me. "Yes?"
I felt awkward at first but realized that it was normal to question things. I took a deep breath and let the words run out. "Is that how relationships work?" I inquired and the couple look at each other with a chuckle. "Some act like us but love isn't just expressed in one or two ways." Paxton informed, seeming to be lightweight for Quenly.
"I don't...understand."
"You will once you experience it." Paxton gave a small smile before Quenly started to walk again. I turn around. "Wait! How do I know if I am experiencing it?" I exclaimed, too loudly might I add.
"When you feel attached to your partner and if he or she makes you feel happy." Quenly said, quite vague. "You'll feel your heart flutter!" She added before disappearing from my sight. My heart will flutter? But my heart can't fly.
I press my hand against my chest and feel the beating of my heart. Ba bump, ba bump. Ba bump, ba bump. It beated slowly and calmly, disappointing me a little. I wonder if Kurt has someone he loves...
Ba bump, ba bump, ba bump, ba bump. Ba bump, ba bump, ba bump, ba bump.
