Later afternoon I was walking home from school alone.

It took me slower to get there because of my crutches.

Suddenly a black shining car pulled into the nearest driveway by me.

It looked brand new.

The window rolled down.

"Hey! You need a ride?" That british accent was familiar anywhere.

"No I'm okay." I answered, dropping my textbooks the same moment.

I bent down to pick them up and then I fell.

Harry immediately hopped out of the car and came over to help me.

He leaned down, making me wrap my arms around his shoulders, then handed me the crutches.

"Are you alright?" He asked caring.

"Yeah." I forced out in pain.

I could feel the my knee burning showing off that I probably scraped it.

"Here. Let me take you home." He said, helping me over to his car.

I got in, slammed the door and strapped my seatbelt around my body.

I realized Harry hadn't gotten in yet, so I looked over out the window.

My heart melted when I realized he was picking up my things and even my crutches.

I couldn't help that a smile came across my face.

He's such a gentleman.

He opened the back door and placed my things in the backseat.

Then he got in the front and we started driving to my house.

~

It was a silence the entire way to my home.

But it wasn't awkward.

Kind of like a calming silence.

"Which house is it?" He asked turning down my street.

"That one." I said pointing at the white house with black shutters, a big green front yard and an old tree that hung over the side of the home.

You may mistaken me for being rich.

Yeah, we had money, but not super rich like down in California in Beverly Hills.

Now, THATS what I call rich.

"Wow, you're house is big. Are you rich or something?" He asked.

See.

I laughed.

"No." I answered him.

He pulled into my drive way and stopped the car.

But I didn't leave.

I sat there staring blankly at the house.

Something was keeping me from getting out.

"Is something wrong?" He asked, noticing I wasn't leaving.

"I want ice cream. Let's get ice cream." The words came out and I haven't planned to get ice cream.

I realized that I wanted to spend more time with Harry, even if it was for the littlest thing like ice cream.

"Alright." He said with no complaint.

He started the car again and we were off.

After a little while of driving, my actions suddenly just took over me and I faced Harry.

And my heart began beating faster.

The sun was setting and the outlines of his face lit up from the light of the sun.

His beautiful face focused on the road, then I found myself gazing at him.

Then he turned to me.

"What?" He asked, with a small smirk spreading across his face.

"Nothing." I quickly faced back to the road.

Suddenly my eyes found their way back to him.

"What!" He couldn't help but laugh.

"Nothing, sorry." I apologized.

Suddenly I felt a warm hand wrap around mine. I looked down then up at Harry.

But he was still focused on the road.

I then wrapped my fingers under his.

I could feel his smile without even looking at him.

I was so lost into the moment I hadn't realized we pulled into the ice cream shop.
