Naki X Reader [Smile]

Chapter 3

They set the textbooks all over the coffee table and opened some of them. (Y/N) looked up at the clock and saw they had another 15 minutes left untill her brother came back.

The (H/C) haired girl plopped onto the coach and sighed with relief. Naki sat down beside her. "Oh yeah, our conversation got interuppted when my brother came, so why don't we talk untill he comes back?" (Y/N) suggested and Naki nodded approvingly.

Naki started ranting about Yamori and how he was always nice to him. He told (Y/N) about the ghouls that were mean to him, mainly Ayato. The girl listened to everything he had to say with a smile.

Suddenly the door opened and Izuki walked into the apartment. (Y/N) and Naki stood up and nervously gazed at the tall male. Izuki looked between the two with a slight look of confusion.

"Izuki this is my friend from school." (Y/N) stated gesturing towards Naki. The blonde ghoul grabbed Izuki's hand and shook it with a huge grin on his face.

"Nice to meet you sir, I'm Naki!" The ghoul exclaimed as Izuki chuckled, returning the hand shake. The two separated a bit.

"Haha, nice to meet you too, you can just call me Izuki." (Y/N's) brother stated happily. "Now may I ask why you're here when it's...3 in the morning?" Izuki asked adding the last part after checking his watch.

"I was studying and Naki was helping me." (Y/N) said pointing towards the textbooks. "And we lost track of time." She added after a moment.

"Yeah, I was giving her advertise on..." Naki stated before grabbing a random book from the table. "Ummm...this!" He exclaimed as he gave Izuki the book because Naki couldn't exactly read it.

"Naki it's advice not advertise..." (Y/N) whispered into Naki's ear. The ghoul blushed slightly and corrected himself.

"Fair enough." Izuki shrugged and started heading towards the stairs. "I'm going to sleep now." He added and walked upstairs.

"Good night and Naki is sleeping here because it's a bit late for him to walk home! We don't want any ghouls to eat him right?!" (Y/N) exclaimed and Izuki shouted back that it was okay for Naki to stay.

The blonde ghoul stood in the middle of the room completely shocked. "It'll be safer for you to stay overnight, I mean you were running away from someone right?" The girl said.

Naki's confusion grew even more. "H-how?" He asked. (Y/N) winked at him and started to explain.

"Well let's just say I have a certain friend that can see even the slightest details and I may have gotten a bit of his observation skills." She stated, a picture of her blonde, optimistic friend appeared in (Y/N's) mind.

Naki didn't question the girl any longer and decided that he will stay. The blonde male wouldn't admit it out loud but he really liked (Y/N).

"Here, have this blanket, the bathroom is the last door to the left and if you need anything my room is upstairs it'll have a sign with my name on it." (Y/N) explained everything carefully and wrote down her name on a piece of paper.

A moment earlier Naki told her that he was bad at reading and writing. "I can teach you how to read and write better in the future so goodnight Naki." She added and yawned whilst stretching.

"Goodnight (Y/N)." Naki answered with a smile as he snuggled under the blanket (Y/N) gave him. The (E/C) eyed student went upstairs, to her room.

"Did you see that Yamori? I think I fell in love..." The ghoul whispered whilst looking at the piece of paper with (Y/N's) name on it. He placed it back on the table and fell into a deep slumber.

Meanwhile (Y/N) snuggled under her covers thinking about Naki. She blushed slightly as she looked at the blonde's blazer, which was resting on her chair and then closed her eyes. 'Am I falling in love with a ghoul?' She thought as she fell asleep...
