Chapter 2: Departure

Rob leaves the bat cave heading into the manor going straight for the refrigerator, Rob opens the refrigerators and says "great, classic Jared, just fucking sweet tea and water" Jared replies "sorry man no booze" "its fine" Rob says snagging a bottle of water and sighs "I'm going to find Deathstroke" he says. "Great I have some good idea's where we can start." Jared replies. "We, um.... sorry man i'm doing this alone i do like what you've done with the place though" Rob says to Jared with a smile. Smile, that is something he hadn't done in a year, he thought he forgot how to do that. Aren't you even going to say hi to Tabby" Jared asked anger boiling inside him his voice getting louder with every word. "No Jared and you know exactly why. She made her choice." Rob replies with a calm but sad tone. "ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE! SHE HAS MISSED YOU LIKE CRAZY" Jared said now yelling, not thinking Jared grabs Rob and slams him against the wall. Rob had enough, Jared let him go trying to apologize but Rob was so pissed he didn't realize it. With one swift kick to his chest, Jared went flying across the room crashing into the wall. Before Jared could make another move Danielle came in and stopped them from fighting. "Come on you two stop you're gonna kill each other" Rob told Danielle sorry and went running out the door. Danielle went to help Jared, he was dangling from a cliff side in the cave with a few broken ribs. "what the fuck was his problem" Danielle asked as Jared began limping over to the batcaves infirmary "Its something even i don't know the full story, something has been bothering him about tabby for the past year, i can't blame him no matter how pissed we get at each other". Jared took off the batsuit and his undersuit halfway only revealing his chest. The scar from an old attack, one in the shape of a bat symbol, shone clear on his bloody chest. A broken rib could be seen sticking out from his stomach, he was lucky the other three ribs weren't completely snapped in half. Danielle wrapped up Jared's chest with special bandages that once there wrapped around what they need to, depending on the injury they apply the perfect amount of pressure for faster healing. Jared winced in serious pain as he got up and injected himself with some morphine. "Jared.... are you two going to be ok?" Danielle asked "Yes, Rob is tough he just needs to blow off steam, he will come around".

Just as Jared finished, Jeans yelled down the staircase from the grandfather clock in Wayne Manor "Jared the fuck happened down there, i heard a big crash you alright.... oh and we need more booze" Jeans yelled. Adrianna yelled from the back ground "AND POT". Jeans was Jared and Rob's old friend from school and helped save the planet from the apocalypse. Their closest friends moved in with Jared at Wayne Manor (even though he was in the batcave most of the time) at least who ever was still alive, which only included Tabby, Jeans, Adrianna, Danielle, and Cole. Cole was the Hood from the apocalypse Rob was really shaken from the experience of having all his friends nearly killed, along with himself, thats why he moved to paris to forget about it and find his own peace.

"Don't worry you guys, go to the garden on the side of the house that has a pot garden and take your car out to get some booze, remember you still don't need money" Jared said and handed Jeans the cash as he walked up to him. "Hey man you ok?" Jeans asked concernedly "Ya Rob is pissed again, can't really explain why" Jared replied "You goin' after him?" Jeans asked "No, he is just need to blow off some steam" Jared replies.
