Chapter 14: Star City

Oliver had watched the whole fight go down from inside the batmobile, his age gave him limitations and all he could do was helplessly watch. When Taylor got into the vehicle to take Tabby, Taylor shot Oliver in the shoulder blade just for the hell of it and to keep him from interfering in any way. The group had left after about an hour after digging a grave for Tabby, giving their respects.

There was a camera inside the cockpit of the Titan, which Jared was taking for scrap metal and weapons. Deathstroke had been watching the whole fight go down "So it seems i didn't make a mistake with Rob but with Connor" Deathstroke said to himself. "Alright we need to move out" Deathstroke says to his general. Rob's face suddenly appeared on Deathstrokes screen, Rob stared into the camera as if looking into Deathstrokes eye, Rob looked at him "Tabby's dead because of you and I will get revenge for her, I'm going to hunt down and kill every last member of Arachnid, I will put your organization down for good." Rob says as he crushes the camera with his boot. Rob walked up to Jared and asks "You ready" "Yeah" Jared replies as they walk back to their vehicles and start leaving the area. There was nothing but silence until the group arrives at the cave. They jumped out of their vehicle and followed Oliver while Jared was comparing caves. "huh.....so this is the arrow cave" Jared says "Shut up Jared" Rob replies, Rob had sensed another presence he wasn't sure what it was but he knew that it wasn't Deathstroke. Rob slowly pulled out his bow and knocked back an arrow then said "Come out of there slowly with your hands up" but the figure in the shadows just bolted in the other direction. Jared just uses his grapple gun to tie up the mans feet, the man fell to the ground "Why are you following us" Jared asked, but the man just stared at Jared. Jared just chuckled and said "look, i'm not gonna hurt you, but that guy over there just lost the one he loved the most and he's a loose cannon so either tell him or me, Your choice" the spy just looked at Jared and said "Do your worst" Jared looked at Rob who was leaning against a wall and nodded in his direction. Rob walked over to the man untied him and helped him up "Thanks man your not so bad after all" the spy said. Rob pulled out his pistol and shot the spy in both his knee caps. "You will never win!!!!" the spy says screaming in pain of his knees, "we don't have anything to lose" Rob says as he picks up the man and takes him outside, "go" Rob says as he tosses the man in the street. "Jean's, you and adrianna stay here with Oliver, Rob and I are going to Star lab" Jared says "What if you need backup?" Jean's asks "We won't" Rob replies walking back into the room "Rob come over here" Oliver says. Rob walks over to Oliver leaving Jean's and Jared to talk "What is it old friend?" Rob asks "I want you to have this" Oliver replies handing him a box. Rob opens the large box and it was a black hoodie with a pair of black pants "Thank you" Rob says, Oliver just nods as Rob walks into another room. Rob comes back a few minutes later in his new outfit "You look like an actual hero now, so you're not gonna be killing anyone anymore right" Jared says jokingly sort of already knowing the answer. When Jared and Rob leave the Arrow cave the two of them got in the batwing and started to head for Star labs, as Rob and Jared are flying through the air in the batwing Jared reached into the the glove department and pulled out a sheath with a brand new sword made out of tungsten metal. "Damn, thats a fucking huge glove box" Rob says. "look" Rob says pointing at STAR labs which was fast approaching Jared looked and the lab had been overrun by arachnid soldiers. "What do we do now?" Jared asks as he lands the plane a few yards away from the building, Rob just looks at him, smiles and says "Time to have some fun" as he exits the batwing drawing his knife. At the front door Rob went to one side and Jared went to the other, they were about to open the front door and throw a flash bang when two guards walked out, Rob and Jared disappeared into the shadows as the guards finished their conversation "Look i'm not saying that he wouldn't be tough but I could totally take the Black Arrow out with one hand behind my back" the male guard says. "Your fucking crazy he was the first general of arachnid, he would wipe the floor with you" the female guard replies. Rob jumps out of the shadows grabbing the male guard while Jared snuck up behind the female guard.
