Chapter 3: The Flashback

Rob sat on a building over looking the airport, he looked "over his shoulder and saw the bat cave. He sat there and pulled out a photo, it was Tabby and him they seemed so happy then, And started to think back a year ago when Rob's life went into a downward spiral. he was in this very spot one year ago when it happened.

One Year Ago...

Jean's, Cole and Rob were making a supply run when they came across some trouble. Jean's had to stop for gas that day So Rob and Cole went inside to grab some food, Rob had his sword in hand and walked in first there was one zombie inside "don't move" Rob says to cole walking slowly towards him Rob decided not to carry a bow anymore he was sticking to guns and swords. He took one step towards the zombie he looks up quickly and starts to charge. Timing was everything Rob waited four seconds and swung his sword beheading the disgusting beast from hell. "man your good" cole said. Cole set his knife on the counter and Rob put his sword in its sheath and started taking food to jean's car. "Alright lets head back guys" Jean says Alright just let me grab my knife" cole replies,he runs inside and picks it up but suddenly a shelf gets knocked over and five zombies rush him, he kills two of them but they overwhelm him start tearing the flesh off his skin. Jeans and Rob rush to help but are too late Jean's killed two with his shotgun and Rob killed one with his pump action rifle. "Help me" Cole says grabbing at Rob's leg, "What should we do?" Jean's asks What can we do he's infected, AGAIN and he won't make it back to the batcave." Rob replies "I was afraid you were gonna say that so who's gonna do it" Jean's asks. "I'll do it he is Tabby's brother" Rob says putting away his gun and pulling out his pistol "I'm sorry Cole" Rob says and pulls the Trigger, "We should go" Jean's says. Rob just stares at the body for a few seconds and then walks to the car. Halfway home Rob says to Jean's "I should be the one to tell her" Jean's just nods.

The two arrive at the manor and Tabby and Danielle are sitting on the couch talking when they see Rob and Jean's walk in. Tabby asks "what happened? Where's my bro?" Jean's walks to the kitchen, and Rob explained the situation "i'm sorry Tabby" Rob says "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE I DON'T EVER WANNA SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN" Tabby says tears in her eyes running to her room. Rob Just looked at Jean's and walked out of the manor not planning on coming back.

Rob snapped back to reality, someone was behind him it wasn't Jared, Rob turned around and it was the Red Arrow. "What do you want?" Rob said "I'm worried about you. Your letting your anger get the best of you. I should tell Jared" says the Red Arrow, As the Red Arrow pulls out his comm Rob draws his sword "Get out of here" Rob says his voice rising "You've changed" replies the Red arrow walking to the side of the building and jumping off. "I know" Rob says to himself.
