Chapter 6: The call

Back at the batcave Jared was resting up it had already been a year since Rob stormed off. Tabby wasnt mad at Rob anymore but felt more betrayed for what he did to her brother cole. Jared attempted to talk to her to calm her down. "I just can't believe, he..would do that. I thought he cared for me, i thought he wouldn't do anything to hurt me" Tabby sobbed. Jared was never good at comforting people. All he thought to do was to put his arm around her shoulders and let her cry, trying to tell her that it will be alright. "Tabby..its ok, Rob was just a little mad, he did it because there was no saving your brother...he does care about you, thats why he did it. Everything will get better, they always do" Jared said to Tabby smiling trying to be reassuring. Jared got up and left Tabby in her room, he went back downstairs to the batcave to have some sweet tea and rest his aching body. When he got to the cave Jeans was already down there waiting smoking a cigarette. "Jared what's going to happen now, what are you planning on doing about Rob?" Jeans asked "Well after the events of the apocalypse three years ago, we all needed new gear right?" Jared said "Right?" Jeans replied "So when i gave Rob new boots i implanted a new tracking device inside them, i know he would never leave without and he would wear them all the time. So after long enough time of wearing them, the transmitter will imbed itself into Robs leg without hurting him, should he ever lose the boots. I have his coordinates, i've know where he was since he left" Jared answered. Just as Jeans and Jared were walking over to the bat computer to show where Rob was, there was a glitch in the screen where Robs position was. "Thats odd, my satellites are so powerful that the transmission shouldn't glitch no matter where he was at in the world, The only thing that could have happened was he is in a fight and the device got hit. Jeans i need you to go rescue him" Jared said "ME...why not you" Jeans asked kind of shocked. "i need to stay here and get everyone prepared for anything that might come our way, you already have all you need to get there" Jared replied, "ok ill do it when should i-" Jeans was cut off by Jared's cell phone going off. "Thats weird no one ever calls this anymore, i wonder who it could be?" Jared said "Well answer it man come on" Jeans replied. Jared answered the phone. "hello" "Jared its Rob, i need your help...i went to a prison, i'll fill you in more when i return-". Jared cut him off "Rob i'm sending Jeans already, i have to stay behind to prep all the gear and everyone else, Jeans should be there in a day or so" Jared said. "Ok thats fine, but i have some news..." Rob said with shakiness in his voice "Well, what is it?" Jared asked concerned. "i found my old mentor...Oliver Queen..and right next to him in the prison cell....someone who looks like your brother Daniel".
