Aubrey was lazily sprawled out on the bed when Robyn got home. Not that she got out much, escaping for a brief half hour to pick up some necessities for the both of them.
Since being with her significant other, she had given up almost all of her entirety. From the little family she had back in Barbados, the friends she made at the strip club she used to perform at, and ended up dropping it all for him. He was charming, and endearing at first, so she didn't mind giving it all up to spend her every second with the love of her life....
Until things took a drastic turn. Her all wasn't enough, not when it was being shared with others. Especially not when her sex was shared with anyone willing to pay the right sum. Multiple nights spent in hospital beds, medical fees she had to find the money to fund herself... with no job too, at that. Which led to her self mending and self medicating with the odd spliff or alcoholic beverage just to take away the physical and the emotional pain she caused herself.
Bypassing her other half, Robyn made a beeline for the Kitchen to put the groceries away. Not even bothering to check if the sprawled out man was conscious or not, knowing him he'd be passed out from having one too many alcoholic beverages.

She smiled, sometimes he was still that charming man she first met. She muttered a small thank you baby. Before running upstairs to see what waited for her. Being the tender age of 23 she still had that sweet innocence about her, despite all she had been through.
