Robyn exasperated, her fiancé packing their bags in front of her eyes, despite her constant begging for him to stop a minute. Let her catch her breath. Fuck it was only 2am, a flight scheduled to god knows where at 4am. This all being a curveball she hadn't expected.

"WAIT!" Robyn screamed. "Maurice, just wait!" She took a moment to breath as her fiancé paused.

"We've wasted too much time! Could make this whole process a damn lot quicker if you helped pack your shit!" Maurice growled gruffly, he looked on edge. As if he hadn't slept in weeks and she was only just noticing.

"Why? Why the hell does it seem like we're running?- Are we?" She felt the urge to ball, the tidal waves of tears about to burst through the flood gates. "Christopher! Are we?!" All of a sudden this wasn't funny, she wasn't trying to wrap her heard around it anymore. This was serious. She knew that in her soul, but her soul wasn't telling her that. Her soul was just staring blankly back at her, nothing verbally coming out of his mouth, everything just written on his face.

Blinking open her eyes, Robyn scanned her surroundings

Blinking open her eyes, Robyn scanned her surroundings. They were still on a plane, and by the looks of it, had no planes of landing any time soon. She glanced over to her fiancé, he finally looked at peace. His brown orbs closed, his beautiful plump lips parted slightly as he slept soundly. She still had no idea what was going on, and why they needed to leave so abruptly. But, she decided to trust Maurice, and his love for her and their unborn child.

It was a fair few hours later before it began to look like they were getting ready to land, peeping the seatbelt sign blink on. Robyn quickly buckled herself up and then managed to smoothly belt up her fiancé, having to use all her strength to shift him over a little to be able to.

She breathed in deeply, grabbing his hand in hers as she exhaled. Reminding herself that the shudder of the plane was just some turbulence, and that it just meant that they were a step closer to landing. Her breath hitched as she felt something foreign inside of her, gasping in a second sharp breath as she felt a little kick again. She quickly slapped Maurice awake, who shot up in panic.

"I- I felt something!" Robyn voiced, studying her stomach for anymore signs of movement. She quickly grabbed his hand to place on the area she felt the strange sensations, watching him intently to fully capture his reaction in her brain. He frowned at her belly, back at her and then back to her bump. She huffed as she pushed his hand a bit harder into her stomach, and suddenly his face said it all. He felt it too. She could feel herself grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

"Wha-" He laughed almost not believing what was happening at his finger tips. "Was that the..."

"The first time? Yep!" She beamed brightly, as he pushed at her belly wanting to feel something again. She giggled at the concentration on his face.

"Thank you for flying with me today, we have arrived at our destination Mr and Mrs Brown, I wish you both a pleasant time here!" An overhead speaker spoke, snapping the two of them out of this precious moment.

"So

"So... Maurice! Do you plan on telling me exactly what we are doing on an island that looks to be deserted?... or ya can't tell me that neither?" Robyn was just about done with the amount she did or didn't know.

"I can't.... Not- not yet! When I can, when I have a handle on all this then I'll share with you. But- but it's best you don't know. It will keep you and baby safer."

Robyn exhaled deeply. Closing her eyes. Reminding herself that he was indeed in way deeper than she ever was with Aubrey and his drug dealing cohort. She tried to remind herself that she probably didn't want to know. But she also wanted to believe she could trust Maurice. But this all felt too familiar.

"Don't- don't cry! Baby please!!!" Maurice whined, wiping her tears, kissing her lips and scooping her up tightly in his arms. "Please dont! You know I can't! You know I can't stand it when you cry!! Please!!"
