Maurice had managed to get Robyn on and off of his private jet without waking her, that was an accomplishment within itself. But when he managed to get her to his newly purchased villa without her stirring much, he was pretty proud. It was breakfast time by the time they got in, and he had managed to catch a quick catnap on the flight so he was more than energized. A little bit nervous too, bringing Robyn to Barbados without discussing things with her was a risky move, especially considering her mental state as of current.
"Mau- Maurice!" Robyn called out from the bedroom. She sat up slowly and scanned her surroundings. Nothing that looked remotely familiar that clued her in as to where she was, the blinds shut and the home silent.
"Maurice!" She called, she tossed over and scanned the empty bed beside her, burying her head in the pillow since it smelt like him. A scent she was so unaware that she had missed the past few nights she had spent alone. She smiled at the thought of him spending the night in bed with her.
"Maurice!" She called out one last time, fighting everything inside of her to not get out of bed and find him herself. She knew he wanted her to rest up. Finally hearing the door latch, she knew he was back from wherever he had just been.
"Baby!" She shouted, hearing the sound of bags being dropped as he sprinted upstairs, bursting in the door looking flustered as he paused to look her over.
"What? Are you okay? What's the matter?" He spoke so quickly he was fumbling over his words. She giggled, shaking her head.
"Just wondered where you were... Where we are for that fact!" She yawned snuggling back down into the comfort of the sheets. Maurice perched himself down on the side of her bed and began rubbing her legs.
"I went to get some food. I'm going to make breakfast and then I'll show you around. You might just connect the dots yourself..." he smiled before kissing her on the forehead, the butterflies in her stomach going all giddy seeming as he hadn't been this happy around her for a while.
"Wait! I'm allowed out of bed?..." she frowned at him as he laughed.
"Yes! Not for long though and nothing too extravagant. Just a short walk out, where we're going you can put your feet back up as soon as we get there." Maurice stood up before telling her not to move, and that he'd be back soon with some breakfast.

Robyn walked closely behind Maurice as he led her up an all too familiar path. It felt good to be home, on the island she grew up on, but at the same time came this overwhelming guilt for abandoning it at the same time.
"You know where we are yet?" He beamed as the stopped reaching the ocean. She nodded with a huge smile on her face.
"Home." She answered, taking in a breath of ocean air as the waves washed over their feet. Gathering Maurice in her arms she held him close as the sun beamed down on them, she felt its warmth in her core as she swayed them back and fourth.
"So you're not mad I brought you here?" He asked, as she separated them and took a step back to admire her man in this light.
She smiled back at him in a way he hadn't seen this past while. "No... I thought I would be, but I'm not. I guess I needed this" she grinned practically from ear to ear.
"And what if I told you I tracked down your family? Well I didn't personally, Jaime did... But still!" He rambled nervously as she took a step back.
"They still here?" She asked, gulping down some heart felt emotions as he nodded. "Same place?"
"I believe so..." he showed her the address stored on the notes on his iPhone XR. She gasped before shaking her head.
"I can't go back! Not now..." she groaned visibly fighting her emotions. She paced back and fourth in the ocean, her foot prints being washed away rhythmically by the waves.
"Baby, they're expecting you. They know you're on the island and they're so excited!" He said softly, and as she stopped, he slowly approached her. He wrapped his arms securely around her as she looked up at him, her nerves seemingly settled as she caught a glimpse of his brown eyes.
"It's up to you whether we see them or not" he said placing his hand on her stomach that seemed to have grown since he last was this close to cradle it.
She smiled as she looked down, placing her hand over his own. Taking a deep breath she agreed to see her family, she knew she would need to mentally and emotionally prepare herself for the reunion.... Knowing full well that Maurice could emotionally refuel her when needed.
"When are they expecting us?" She asked quietly.
"This afternoon...." He looked at the time on his phone. "Well, in an hour..."
