My head is a little foggy as another pro hero enters the mock city and quickly makes her way over to us. I believe her name is Recovery Girl, at least that's what I read in one of Izuku's journals. I was listening in to a few conversations about Izuku and his quirk. It came out of nowhere! I hope that quirk is not one that hurts him every time he uses it. It's probably just a drawback, seeing as he's been without a quirk until just recently.

I watched the pro hero as she handed out candy to students and approached Izuku. Oh my god, he looks horrible. In one swing he managed to destroy both legs, his right arm, and a 0-point robot. Recovery Girl gave Izuku a kiss which was a little weird but didn't really surprise me at that point. She came over to me and handed me a water bottle and candy before moving on to some other kids on the other side of the wreckage. I gulped down the water and attempted to stand. If I pass, it will definitely be a miracle. I lean against a mock building and try to pep myself up.

About a week after the mock exam, I received the letter from U.A. I don't think I failed on the written exam, but I barely received any points in the practical exam. Despite knowing this, I still have hope. I opened the letter and found a small circular device inside. I placed it down and a projection of All Might appeared.

"This is a projection!" All Might shouted which startled me a little. I figured out that much. The number one hero explained that he was going to be a teacher at U.A. and discussed the results of the test.

"Unfortunately, 20 points was not enough to become a U.A. student...."

Once he said this, I stared at my hands, attempting to keep the tears from escaping my eyes. The sound of All Might's voice startled me and I slowly looked back up. If I didn't pass, what else could he possibly have to say?!

"However, the robots were not the only way to receive points in the exam!" His statement shocked me. "Examinees could also gain points by being a hero, helping others in need. You have gained 39 rescue points!" I couldn't pry my eyes away from the projector. Does this mean I really passed?!

"Welcome to U.A., young hero!"

Even though the projector shut off, I found myself staring at the same spot for almost three minutes. I cannot even fathom the idea that I'll be attending U.A. High school. I was so set on the fact that I failed. I even decided to keep the letter a secret, so I wouldn't make my mom disappointed. I attempted to calmly walk to my mother before immediately laughing and crying at the same time.

"What happened?! Are you ok?" My mother pulled me into her arms as I sat on her lap like a two-year old. I wiped my eyes and tried to speak as clearly as possible.

"So I got the results from U.A...," She sat still, tapping her foot rhythmically which is what she usually does when she is nervous. "And somehow...I made it in!" There was a moment of silence before she quickly embraced me and almost squeezed the life out of me. I could here her sniffling. I grabbed my phone and was about to call my dad when I saw Izuku's contact. I messaged him to meet me at the park in an hour. I needed to know about his quirk and whether he passed or not. I resumed calling my father and gave him the good news! I hurried to get myself ready in order to make it to the park.

~An hour later~

I saw him sitting on a bench close to the entrance and plopped myself on the empty side of the bench. We sat in silence for a few moments before I decided to speak. I cleared my throat.
"It's been awhile. I mean, since we got to talk properly." Izuku replies by nodding his head somewhat slowly as if he is in a trance.

"Y-yeah. I'm guessing you want to talk about what happened a week ago." I focus my attention on him, not wanting to interrupt. He makes eye contact with me before abruptly turning away. I decide to help him out, because he seems to be a little on edge about the subject.

"First of all, thank goodness that Recovery Girl was there, because you literally fell from the sky and broke almost all of your limbs. Secondly, how in the world did you break that robot?!" Izuku starts mumbling at an inaudible level. "Well you probably want to know about my quirk too. Somehow, I manifested my quirk about 2 months ago. I'm guessing that happened to you to? The doctors were wrong about us." I smile at him.

"I guess so. I'm so lucky for things to turn out this way. I, uh m-manifested a quirk and--" He cut himself off, visibly shedding a few tears. "Did you p-pass the exams?" I nod my head slowly, praying that he passed as well. "I m-made it too." I give him a hug, he jumped before returning the gesture, and we decide to buy ice cream. I can't get rid of the enormous smile on my face. Although, I'm not sure Bakugou will be happy to see us in U.A. That makes it all the better! If he tries to bully Izuku now, it won't be so easy!

We head our separate ways after about two hours of catching up and telling each other about our training experiences. Izuku and I, we never thought that we could get here. I'm so glad that we are going to be going through similar experiences together. I can already tell that we will become great heroes!
