A blonde blur whips past me at an insane speed.

"What the hell?! Explain yourself Deku!!!"

I start running in Bakugou's general direction as he nears Midoriya. I really have no idea if i started running instinctually or if I really did plan on stopping Katsuki, but I keep moving regardless. My feet move faster than my brain as I struggle to figure out what I'm going to do once I catch up to him.

It doesn't matter because I'm not gonna make it in time...not at this speed...Bakugou is too fast...Izuku's dead....or not? I make a sudden stop, kicking up some of the sand on the field, as Mr. Aizawa uses his capture weapon to apprehend Katsuki. I barely have time to let out a sigh of relief when I feel the capture weapon squeezing my abdomen.

Crap...I didn't explain why I was running, did I? I barely remember why I started. I stand there, completely dumbfounded and awkwardly trapped, like a bug in a spider's web. Katsuki, stuck in a spider web-like cage of his own, has enough time to snicker at me. Oh okay, I'm glad he thinks it's funny that he got both of us in trouble with our teacher. I like to lay low, especially on my first day, and this...this is not it.

"Jeez...stop using your quirk..." Aizawa sighs, holding onto his weapon tightly as if Katsuki was a rabid Chihuahua on a leash. "I'm getting dry eye over here."

I would be laughing if I wasn't in the same position.

He slowly releases his grip on me, probably because Bakugou is still fighting, which must be tiring as Mr. Aizawa is holding him back with one hand. Good, I can clear up the misunderstanding.

"I'm sorry Mr. Aizawa. I just--"

"I really don't care why you were running..." Aizawa let's out a long sigh, struggling due to the blond boy's endless determination. His head snaps back to Bakugou. "Quit it, will you?"

Finally, Bakugou gives up (for once in his life) and stops pursuing Izuku...at least not physically. His eyes, similar to daggers, are stuck to Izuku as if he is going through an internal monologue. I still don't feel like I've cleared my name but I really don't want to bother my homeroom teacher any further so begin to make my way over to the other students in my class.

Bakugou's eyes then move towards me. I attempt to walk and act in a normal manner, which is the hardest thing to do when you are fully aware that someone is watching you. Hopefully I can distract myself by chatting with some of my classmates.

~Timeskip to the end of the physical exams 😊~

Mr. Aizawa saves my draining sanity caused by Mr. Anger issues himself by reverting everyone's attention back to the exams.

"I was lying about expelling someone."
Everyone's eyes were as wide as saucers. Except for a girl with a black ponytail, who accepted the information as easily as if Mr. Aizawa said that 2+2=4. She must have figured that he was lying about it beforehand. We all stood quietly as he continued. "That was a rational deception meant to bring out the best in all of you." Mr. Aizawa made this statement with one of the most ridiculous smiles I have ever seen. It sent chills down my spine. The others were quite shocked about his sudden statement.

Despite the chills, I felt surprisingly calm! I spot Izuku's name at the bottom, but he can still continue to attend U.A. and become a hero. That's all that matters. And his destroyed finger...that matters too. I see Mr. Aizawa hand Midoriya a pass to the nurse's office. I jog up to them.

"May I accompany him to the nurse's office?"

Mr. Aizawa gives me a slight nod and I follow Izuku to the nurse's office. We enter U.A. and a cool whiff of air hits my skin. Ahhhh, I needed that.

"Thanks for believing in me, (N/n)."

"Thank you for being someone that I can believe and trust in." I pat his back as we walk to the nurse's office. He stares at his hurt finger for a while.

I find some of the other classrooms on the way there. "1-B" is printed on the gigantic door. I peer inside the windows to the side of the door and my eyes land on a girl with vines for hair. Izuku nears the window, putting his face near mine as he looks at all of the different students. Quirks are truly incredible, aren't they? Everyone has a power or talent but they are all so different. It's amazing!

"Okay, I've distracted you enough. Let's go and make sure you get this finger healed." I pull on his arm as we look for the sign for the nurse's office.

"It's over there," Izuku states before turning to me, "You don't have to follow me if you don't want to. Not in a rude way! I mean I'm not saying you can't follow me...I just-"

"I get it. You don't want me to worry about you and miss the rest of class."

Izuku nods his head in a quick manner. "Y-yeah! How did you know?"

"I've known you for a long time. And you've known me long enough to know that I'm not leaving you alone in there. You are more important to me than class." I say it subconsciously before my face begins to heat up after I realize what I said.

"I thought that you'd say that..." He responds, sighing. "You're very stubborn."

I shove his shoulder. "You are not allowed to say that! You are just as stubborn as me. You chucked that ball with one finger to prove Mr. Aizawa wrong for goodness sake!" I cross my arms as he giggles at my response.

We reach the office but Pro Hero Recovery Girl doesn't seem to here.

"Maybe she just went to the restroom?" I look around and find two rolling stools for us to sit on. Izuku sits directly in front of me and starts to slowly turn in his seat. I bring him to a slow halt a few minutes later to check his finger.

"Well, it's not getting any better...hopefully the nurse comes soon." Izuku scratches the back of his head with his left hand. He probably could see the worry on my face as the finger was slowly swelling and becoming a little too purple for my liking.

I place my hands around the injured hand. If only I had that icy hot quirk, I could've done something...I could do something. I could tell I squeezed his hand a little too hard as he audibly sucked in his breath.

"Wh...where is the...uhh...the nur-" I began to feel dizzy as I slowly let go of Izuku's hands and sway too much to the right, almost toppling over.

The last thing I remember is hearing Izuku scream my name before entering complete silence and darkness.
