Chapter 5

     Finally!!! The day came!!! Lumine hopped out of bed, lifted his matress and took out a box that held the necklaces. He smiled and realized, he and everyone else was going to the hospital for Kody's birthday! Lumine got dressed and practically flew downstairs.

Aiden laughed when Lumine fell face first into the floor. "Mmm!!! I guess I fell for the floor." Lumine laughed at his WHOREible joke. (I'll stop. ┐(͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖)┌) "Lumine,  we're going now." Lumine ran to the car, opened the door and hopped in.

Sherry was driving when Aiden put his head in her lap. "AIDEN!!" Sherry swerved, but got back to normal. "What were you thinking!! We could've ended up in the hospital too!!" Aiden smirked. "Sorry Sherry." He gave a smirk and made Sherry growl.

Lumine laughed at the scene. "Are you two dating or what!" Silver said. "Are you still single or what!" Sherry shot back. Silver sunk back in his seat as Lumine laughed. "Hell, Lumine has a better chance of getting a hot girl." Sherry muttered.

"But I'm gay." Lumine said. Sherry fell quiet. "Well...Aiden WAS right." Aiden put sunglasses on and gave a smug smile. Sherry sighed and pulled into the parking lot at the hospital after an hour. Lumine hopped out merrily.

They went to the front counter and Aiden smiled. "I'm Kody's father." The woman nodded. She walked them to a room and opened the door. Kody was sitting up in his hospital bed, when he heard a very familiar voice. "KODY!!" Lumine hugged Kody, watching out for his neck.

Kody smiled and hugged Lumine. He saw Sherry, his father and silver walk into the room with a few boxes wrapped in decorative paper. "Happy birthday Kody!!" Kody remembered, it was his 15th birthday.

"Guys...Thank-you!!" Aiden smiled and hugged his son. "Can I open presents first??" Kody asked, giving his father the puppy eyes. They had a staring contest and, Kody won.

Lumine laughed and Sherry handed Kody her present. He unwrapped it and smiled. "YES!!! THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!! I'VE ALWAYS KAKEGURUI!! THANK-YOU SHERRY!!" Kody got up and hugged Sherry.

Silver was next. It was small. Kody shook it and knew it was a DVD. He unwrapped it and smiled. "YUS!! THANK-YOU SILVER!! THE NEW HALO!!!" Silver smirked.

Aiden gave Kody a bag. He hugged it because, it was favorite candy. Chocolate and those soft chewing peppermints. "Father, you're the best!" Aiden smiled brightly. "I know. Lumine has something for you!!" Aiden pushed Lumine.

Aiden pushed Sherry and Silver out. Kody and Lumine were alone. "Sooo...Lulu...What'd you get me?" Lumine furiously blushed and handed Kody the both wrapped in gold and red paper. Slowly and delicately, Kody unwrapped it. He saw the black box and opened it.

"L-lumine...I-I...Love it...But you more." He took out the necklace, but saw a second one. "Why's there two?"
"T-the other one was f-for me..." Kody took the second one and put it on Lumine.

Lumine blushed and put the first one Kody. "I-I...I love you Kody!! Happy Birthday!!"  They smiled a hugged, just as everyone else was coming back in.

The nurse came in with a clipboard. "He's ready to be discharged from the hospital since the injury wasn't fatal." Kody leaped out of bed, but was picked up by Lumine.

Kody and Lumine sat in the car, talking and laughing. Aiden sat in the passenger side and Sherry was if course, the driver. They talked and Silver was passed out.

All was good, until Sherry suddenly hit the brakes. Kody and Lumine fell forward and saw Sherry and Aiden exit the car.

Elijah and Calla stood at Aiden's house, when they saw the car suddenly stop. They saw Sherry and Aiden step up to them. "What do you guys want." Sherry growled.

Calla stepped up to her. "We've sent to everyone in the school that Lumine and Kody are dating. Most of the school hates them and a select few are actually accepting. That includes the teachers." Calla said, putting a hand on her hips. Elijah smirked. "We also told them Kody and Lumine beat me up. "Also, Lumine was to be mine."

Kody and Lumine stepped up to Calla and Elijah. Lumine decided to speak his mind to Elijah. "Elijah, a reason I don't love you is because you are a pretentious asshole! If you actually LOVED me, then you'd be happy for me, not jealous. And if you were Kody's friend, then you'd let him be!!" Lumine pushed both Elijah and Calla and roared.

Both kids got scared and ran away. Lumine hugged Kody protectively. Silver seemed to wake up and went up to everyone, confused. "What happened?" Sherry just bopped him upside the head.

Everyone in the Neptune headquarters sat in the living room. "Should we pack everything and leave?" A girl with lilac hair that was bobbed questioned. Aiden looked out the window. "Honestly, I don't know. Let's see how it plays out over the next two weeks and if things get even worse, I'll reach out to Lailah."

Lumine and Kody held hands, while looking down. Lumine teared up. Kody looked up at his father, who just stared out the window. "What... Who's Lailah?" Aiden smiled. "An old friend..."

Sherry felt a pang of jealousy, but ultimately destroyed it. Kody stood up and streatched while yawning. "Hey Lumine? Wanna go to sleep?" Lumine nodded and joined his boyfriend to an amazing thing called, sleep!

Sherry stood up walked over the Aiden. Everyone else left the room to go do whatever. "Aiden? You okay?" Sherry saw Aiden's smile turn upside down.

"Sherry, I'm scared for Lumine and Kody. Kody's going to be an adult in seven years, Lumine is eight years away. I'm worried if they'll be able to be together, knowing the world we live in today..."

Sherry hugged Aiden. "I understand Aiden." Suddenly, water started to fall from he sky and in the background of it, thunder could be heard. Kody hugged Lumine in their sleep, listening to the soft sound of rain and thunder to guide them to the Oasis of dreams.

Sherry lay on Aiden chest as they too, were guided to the oasis of dreams.  Aiden made sure to put a spell over the mansion so no one could enter the premises of it.

A girl who had pretty white hair and cat ears stared out her window, holding a small delicate cup of dragon chi tea in her delicate hands. She stared at the rain, thinking of Lumine and the others at the Neptune headquarters. "Aiden...you have no idea what's going to happen next..."

The woman smiled as a tear fell down from her magenta eyes to her cheek.
