"Roman it's time to go."
Stefan smiled at his younger twin as he grabbed his bag.
"Alright, are we taking your vintage piece of crap?"
Roman chuckled as Stefan rolled his eyes.
"Just get in the car."
Roman laughed at his brother running downstairs and hopping in the passenger seat.
"You nervous?"
Stefan questioned sliding on his sunglasses.
"Really Stef? We aren't actual teenagers you know?"
Roman chuckled doing the same.
"I know but you could still be nervous."
Stefan shrugged as he pulled out of the house.
"I just don't want you to be overwhelmed. I know you didn't want to come back here, but I think it's for the best."
Stefan explained to Roman the latter sinking back in his seat.
"This place just brings back memories."
Roman whispered running his hand through his hair.
Stefan nodded as he slowly pulled into the parking lot coming to a stop.
"I just want you to know I'm always gonna be here, and this is your chance. It's your chance to have a semi-normal life."
Stefan and Roman sat in silence for a few seconds before finally getting out of the car.
He heard people whispering as he followed Stefan to the office.
"That's a hot back..."
A voice said.
"How can a back be hot..."
Another whispered.
"Hi we need our schedules. Roman and Stefan Salvatore."
Stefan smiled.
"Sorry you aren't in our records."
The lady at the desk glared.
Roman sighed taking off his sunglasses as the woman looked at him.
"Listen sweetheart, everything you need is there. Now give us our schedules."
Roman compelled annoyingly stuffing his glasses in his sweater pocket.
The lady did as told handing the two their schedules.
"Was that necessary?"
Stefan questioned also sliding off his glasses.
"Yes it was, unless you still want to be standing there."
Roman snapped at his brother.
"What is wrong Lee?"
Stefan questioned grabbing his brothers arm.
Roman scoffed at the use of his middle name.
"I am worried he is going to know where we are."
Roman breathed out his eyes flickering around the hall.
"I'm the one who should worry Roman-"
"That's how our family works isn't it? He hates you, and I make him feel guilty and that's just how we spend eternity? Brother if that is how our eternity is meant to be spent then I do not want it."
Roman shook his head softly at his brother, Stefan furrowed his eyebrows at Roman but he quickly walked away looking for his class.
"Woah!"
Roman's eyes widened as he ran into someone making their papers go flying.
He quickly bent down picking up all of the papers in a nice stack.
"I am so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going and I should have paid more attention-"
"Hey it's okay."
The girl laughed lightly cutting him off.
"But you do owe me."
The girl smirked playfully as Roman chuckled.
"What will that be?"
She pretended to think clutching her books to her chest.
"You have to be my new best friend."
She smiled making Roman laugh.
"Alright, I'm Roman."
He stuck out his hand and the girl smiled shaking it.
"I'm Bonnie Bennett."
"Well Bonnie do you know where History is?"
Bonnie chuckled grabbing his arm.
"Yeah I have it too, with my friends."
Roman let Bonnie drag him up to a blonde girl, and the reason Stefan came back to Mystic Falls.
"Roman this is Caroline and Elena."
He smiled as the two girls waved at him.
"Nice to meet you both."
Roman smiled, but it quickly faltered as he saw his brother about to walk up to him.
"Come on Bon lets go find seats."
Roman quickly grabbed her hand dragging her in the room.
He quickly sat toward the back, Bonnie sitting behind him.
"Give me your phone."
Bonnie quickly said as the teacher walked into class.
Roman did as told getting it back seconds later.
What was that about?- Bonnie
He looked down at the text.
I'll explain later- R
He wrote back.
HAWT-E staring @ U and Elena- B
Roman cringed quickly texting back.
Yeah 'hawt-e' is my brother- R
He heard Bonnie stifle a laugh reading the text.
He shook his head also laughing softly at the girl.
Class went quicker then Roman had expected and he spent the rest of the school day with Bonnie and her friends.
