Roman was on edge all day.
Just anxiousness in his chest constantly.
Drinking didn't make it go away neither did feeding.
He decided to go to the boarding house looking for Stefan.
"Little brother, what do I owe the pleasure?"
Damon smirked as Roman rolled his eyes.
"Is Stefan here?"
However Damon's answer was cut short when the door swung open.
"Hello Damon."
Pearl and Anna walked in making Roman growl grabbing a bottle of bourbon.
"Ever hear of knocking?"
Damon sighed as Roman passed him a drink, even if Roman hated Damon he hated those bitches even more.
"An invitation wasn't necessary. I'm surprised that no living person resides here. Is it just you and your brothers?"
"Yeah. How do you keep out unwelcome vampires?"
Anna smirked as Roman making the Salvatore clench his jaw angrily.
"We kill them."
Damon smiled.
"Let me demonstrate."
The two Salvatore's rushed at the girls, Pearl breaking Damon's arm as Roman snapped Anna's neck.
"Have a seat, Damon. I was hoping we could have a word. Roman that was uncalled for."
Pearl hissed as Roman laughed falling back onto the couch.
"We've taken up residence at a farmhouse just outside the town. It'll suffice for now."
"All 25 vampires?"
Damon rolled his eyes looking to Roman who merely chuckled.
"Not all, some. I imagine that a few have already left town. Others are probably still in the woods or like us acclimating."
"It would be much easier if you were all to drop dead like you were meant to."
Roman rested his arms on his knees as Pearl glared at him and Damon rose an eyebrow.
Roman had always been closer to the history, the facts of what went on in Mystic Falls along with other things.
"How did they get out of the tomb anyway?"
Damon threw his arms up.
"Bonnie's grandmother must have messed something up."
Roman said sympathetically for the dead witch.
"I understand from Anna that the founding families still have a secret council? And you're a part of it Damon."
Roman shot a curious glance to his brother.
"That's ridiculous."
The eldest Salvatore scoffed.
"I've been in Mystic Falls since the comet, Damon. I'm up to speed, and now that you've infiltrated the council, I'll need to know everything they know. Starting with a listing names of all the council members and their families."
Roman growled lowly the woman getting on his nerves.
"And everyone you've supplied with vervain.
That will have to stop immediately."
Pearl smirked at Roman knowing how much he hated her.
"What exactly are you trying to achieve?"
Damon asked as Roman sighed, he really did not understand why his brothers did not look closely at things.
"Mystic Falls is our home, Damon. They took that from us. Our land, our home-"
"It was never yours you conceited bitch, nobody ever wanted any of your kind around then you came to our town changing people like us."
Roman pointed to himself and Damon as he held back ripping the woman's head off.
"Great she's back!"
Roman threw back a drink as Anna sat up.
"As a reward for your help I'm willing to give you what you want most."
"I want nothing."
Damon smirked teasingly at the woman.
"Katherine."
"Hell no!"
Roman screamed his voice slightly startling.
"You wouldn't even know where she was. You've been under the ground for the last century and a half."
"But Roman does."
Anna smirked at Roman dodging the glass he threw at her.
Damon paused for a moment his eyes widening as he looked at his brother.
"That's family business, and either way I no longer have any desire to see Katherine ever again. And there's no way in hell I'm gonna play the role of your little minion."
Damon hissed.
"I'm not asking for your help, Damon. Finding Katherine was just a mere gesture of kindness. The rest is non-negotiable."
Pearl sped over to Roman plunging her fingers into his eyes as he screamed out.
"Your brother is smart, and strong, but I have four hundred years on you little boy. Maybe your eyes will be next. I'll be in touch."
Roman clutched his head in pain as he felt Damon's hands on his back.
"Haven't had that happen in a while huh little brother?"
Though there was a joking tone Roman knew his brother felt bad his ignorance hurt him.
Roman knew he couldn't ever really stay mad at Damon.
"Would you get me some glasses brother? Seems the sun is hurting my eyes."

Roman had let Damon take him to the Mystic Grill, however currently Damon was trying to get wasted with Jenna and Matt Donovan's Mom.
Roman's sight was back but still sensitive so he kept the sunglasses on.
"Wow sunglasses inside that's a new kind of dick."
Roman laughed brightly seeing Alaric take a seat beside him.
"Thank you so much for reminding me, I didn't mean to get my eyes gouged out."
Roman winced lightly taking off the glasses.
"Jesus, looks rough."
Alaric hissed through his teeth seeing Roman's red eyes.
"Again thanks."
The two laughed as Roman asked for a bourbon.
"I'm sorry for what my brother did to you yesterday, even if you did have that ring on he didn't know it."
Roman sadly looked at Alaric, thankful for once that Isobel existed.
"It wasn't your fault."
Alaric said softly shaking his head.
Roman took a deep breath glancing at Ric lips, they seemed to be leaning closer to each other with each breath.
However Roman's phone ringing made him jump back.
"I'm sorry I-"
"Yeah go, go, take your call."
Alaric smiled as Roman sighed hesitantly walking outside.
"Katherine I swear to god if anything less than Niklaus himself is the problem I'm going to kill you."
Her laugh flowed over the phone making Roman clench his fists.
"Relax Roman, I need answers about the tomb vampires. I heard they got let out."
Roman let out a grunt as he threw his arms out.
"I don't like you! Why would you call me?"
Katherine had talked to him for a total of thirty seconds and he already wanted to kill someone.
"Why are you so mad? Did I interrupt something?"
Roman remained silent practically feeling Katherine's smirk through the phone.
"Well as your 'best friend' Ro, you better be careful. I don't know if you've realized but people you love die because of you. Bye bye now."
