The police took Aubrey's body away and called her parents. Her parents were in Peru on a trip so they had no idea what was going on. The group of friends sat there as if still trying to understand what had happened. That's when Jackson came back and showed them the text on Aubrey's phone.

"It was them! They killed her! Give me that now!", Sydney yelled, lunging at the phone.

"We need to give this to the police!", suggested April.

"We can't there would be too many questions and I want to know who did this to her, I want to be the one to find them." Sydney said in between sobs.

"Then let's make a pact, no one says a word to anyone outside this group.", Mason declared.

"Agreed.", Raquel said. They all swore to secrecy that no one would tell. They deleted all their messages and Sydney took Aubrey's phone. She couldn't delete it thought, she found herself staring at the message, T.T.Y.L Aubrey. Jackson took the phone and deleted it for her.

"If anyone gets any more messages, you tell the group. No secrets.", Jackson said. They decided to stay at Aubrey's lake house for just a while longer to see if they could figure out who killed Aubrey. April started going through the phone when she saw a certain message.

"You guys come look at this message!", April yelled. She showed them the phone and read them the message. It read, payback's a bitch.

"Aubrey must have met this person before!", Raquel suggested.

"What did Aubrey do to them.", Sydney asked. Just when her phone rang.

"Hello?", Sydney said into the phone, "Yes. Okay. We'll be there."

"What was that about?", Mason asked.

"Aubrey's funeral is Thursday.", Sydney replied.

"That's only three days from now!", Jackson said.

"Just keep it together and we'll be fine.", April said. They continued looking through the phone for more messages that would help them, but found nothing worth asking about. Sydney was sitting in her room when she heard her phone chime from across the room. She walked over to her phone and picked it up. She had a new message. It read see ya soon Syd xoxo. And that's when the lights went out.
