We were getting ready for bed when Sydney got really close to me.
"Can I just stay here?" She asked. I told her she could, then tried to imagine how awful this could be for her. Awhile later I heard Sydney start snoring, so I rolled over started to drift off when I heard the window slowly open. Sydney was instantly up and on her feet. She flicked on the lights and ran to the window.
"It's her!" She yelled. We were running down the stairs when Jackson came out and asked what all the yelling was about. I grabbed his arm and pulled him along. Following Sydney out the door and to the backyard.
"We will find you and we will cut you down!" She screamed. By that time she was gone and we were pulling Sydney back inside. At that point it was 6 in the morning, so I made coffee and we waited for everyone to get up. When they did we told them everything that had happened over night. That's when I remembered that's its Thursday, today was Aubrey's funeral.
"She has very platinum blonde hair and sharp blue eyes," Sydney explained.
"Guys," I interrupted, "today is Aubrey's funeral." They all groaned with annoyance.
"Do we have to go?" Mason asked.
"Yes, moron. Of course we have to." I said. At 3 o'clock we head out to Aubrey's funeral. When we got there we greeted her parents and told them how sorry we were. So many people came up to us Sydney gave me a look that said I can't take anymore. I told her we'd leave soon. We all went up to her casket to say a few words, but nothing was more unbearable than the utter silence. Syd and I turned around to leave when a blonde girl, about our age, caught our eye. She saw us eyeing her and looked at us with her platinum hair swinging and her sharp blue eyes piercing through us.
"It's her", Sydney whispered, "she killed Aubrey."Sorry I haven't wrote anything in awhile I've been extremely busy. I won't be able to write from next Wednesday to Sunday much, but I'll try to get some in before then. Happy reading! xoxo- wordtreasurer
