Chapter Two

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked concern lingered in his eyes

"Yeah" I sigh

"No honey what's wrong"

"Well for starters, a two year long friendship just ended" I put my head down

"What happened?"

"So my friend, we're both... a little unstable, but we've always been there to pick each other back up. But lately we've just been making each other worse I think. Or maybe I'm making her worse cause she keeps snapping at me and hitting me. And well, I got so sick of it that I just hit her back..."

"Well that's good that you stand up for yourself" he tells me "plus if she's hurting you, maybe it's better off you part ways"

"Yeah, But now I'm here alone because she left" I sigh

"I'll hangout with you" andy puts his arm around me

"Don't you have a show to do Mr. Beirsack" I tease him

"Ah, well, Jinx got hurt pretty bad so we can't preform for an hour, so maybe we won't preform at all" he sighs "they have to get a band to play, but it might just be silent for an hour"

"I know someone who can play" I tell him

"Who?" He asks

"Me, I play guitar, I could fill up some time so it doesn't fuck up the schedule" I tell him

"I don't know if the manager would approve that..." he trails off

"I get it" I shrug "I'm just saying the show must go on right?"

"Well what would you need?"

"An acoustic tuned a step down, an electric in standard, and a capo" I tell him

"Your on in ten" he stands up offering me a hand and I take it, smiling my face off

"Andy who is she?" The manager furrows his eyebrows

"I'm counting on you" Andy whispers in my ear, then announces "This is my cousin-"

"Amanda" I save him

"Amanda, and she can play guitar hella good, so she said she'd play for a while to stall" he puts his arm back around me and I smile

"You never told me you had a cousin"

"Well I mean then again I don't tell you every time I take a shit either do I Johnny" Andy says

"Okay well she better not fuck this up" He walks away

"So, yeah... no pressure" I nod

"Let's go talk to my guitar tech" Andy leads me back stage and he talks to this woman with a half shaved and dyed head

"Hey Jade, I need uh... what do you need again?"

"A standard electric, acoustic tunned down a step, and a capo"

"Give me two minutes" she nods. She's back pretty quickly, and she has two guitars that she rolls over to a stool and a mic. "Your all set"

"Black Veil Brides. Black Veil Brides." The whole audience is chanting, then it almost goes silent when I walk out and sit on the stool

"Hi" I grab the mic and roar over the audience, trying my hardest to project my voice "So Black Veil Brides will be on shortly, Jinx got hurt so he needs a minute to regenerate. And until then I hope you guys don't mind but I'm here to play you a few songs. Hope you all like Pierce The Veil. Enjoy"

I put to mic back down and put the guitar on my lap, then I look over at Andy who gives me a thumbs up, then I sigh before starting.

I start picking out the beginning of Today I Saw The whole world, then as I strum I sing "Baby, pour over tell me are we concrete. What would you do without my perfect company to your undressed spine?"
