"I can't wait for them to start" Cole smiles, still holding my hand
"Well What's the band you want to see next?" I ask, then he lets go of my hand to hold up the schedule
"Um, there's nothing for two hours" he sighs
"Well maybe I can talk to Andy and see if he can get us to meet Pennywise while we wait" I smirk
"Really? He could do that?" Cole smiles so widely "That would be a dream come true! I've been listening to Pennywise since I was... since I was ten"
"I'll see if I can" I smile
"Thank you" Cole hugs me, and I hug back, then as the show starts again, he grabs my hand and I smile
Bryon runs onto the stage and sits at the drummers spot, and I can tell how excited Cole is. His smile couldn't be any bigger. The guitarist and the bassist both run on, them lastly Byron.
"Hey Palo Alto!" He announces "How are we doing?" The entire audience roars, including Cole and I, "Great, we're doing great ourselves, we're so happy to be here, preforming for you today! And we're gonna play you a few songs huh?" Another roar is sent over the audience, so Byron commenced his intro by screaming "OKAY LETS GET THIS SHIT STARTED!"
The drums and guitar start setting up the familiar tune and Cole smiles at that. "All or nothing" he says
"What the fucks the problem, with the world today?" Byron sings
"You've become what they wanted and now your dead!" I sing with him and Cole starts singing too
Song after song, we mosh and head bang, and unlike when I hung out with Lilly, we both know the songs, and are in the moment, not just recording.
"I should probably get at least one video" Cole says in my ear, letting go of my hand and taking out his phone
I take out mine, but even though it's set up, I haven't put in my information yet, so I can't use it. "This phone doesn't work yet, so you better send me all those later"
"Will do" he smiles, then goes back to the music.
After Pennywise, we go to the gate, and wait for them to come out. When they do, they're all sweaty, and almost pass us up. But I make sure they don't by calling out "Hey"
"You kids shouldn't be back here" the guitarist fletcher says, so I hold up my ID
"I'm touring with Black Veil" I tell him
"Woah, what?" Bryon asks
"Im touring... with Black Veil Brides"
"I didn't know that" he smiles "you one of there girlfriends?"
"Nope" I shake my head, as he smirks "But I just wanted to ask you if we could take a few pictures with you, me and my friend Cole here are pretty big fans"
"Anything for a pretty girl like you" He smiles "come on boys"
We all line up and Cole takes a selfie, "I'll have to come talk to you guys again later, I have this shirt I'm having everyone sign"
"Hey, if it means running into you again" Byron keeps going
"Anything you wanna say to them" I nudge Cole who's starring
"Um, your music has helped me through a lot so I just wanna say... um... thank you" He smiles
"No thank you" Jim laughs
"Well, we'll catch ya later, bye guys" Randy chuckles, and they walk off
"Thank you Amanda!" Cole cheers
"I'm happy I called you" I laugh, then Cole hugs me
"Can I tell you something?" He whispers, while we're still embraced in the hug
"Yeah" I whisper back
"I missed you"
