Chapter Four

Andy opens the door to his bus, and Juliet's sitting on the couch. "Hey baby" she sings

"Hey" He smiles at her, and goes over, kissing her forehead "this is my... cousin... Amanda"

"Andy shut up" I sing playfully giggling

"Okay, so our show was delayed, so I let her play for a while, and told the manager she was my cousin" he explains laughing "She actually turned out to be hella good"

"No" I giggle "But I'm happy I did it, that was hella fun"

"Cool" Juliet smiles, but I can't tell weather or not it's genuine

"I really want you to tour with us" Andy whines "You we're so amazing, and there's always delays so you could fill in for whoever needed to be filled in for"

"I can't" I sigh "that'd actually be a dream come true for me, but my mom wouldn't let me in a million years"

"Maybe I could ask the driver to make a stop at your house so I can talk to her" he shrugs "I really want you to come"

"I'm sixteen Andy, being away from home for how long? A month? That's unrealistic... she'd never say yes"

"Okay, well there's no harm in trying right?" He asks

"I guess not, I'm just... I'm sorry if she says no and I've waisted your time" I sigh

"Hey, knowing I did everything I possibly could to see weather or not you could tour with us is worth every second" He puts his hand on my shoulder and I smile

Andy walks away, back into the driving area "Kyle!"

"So your sixteen huh?" Juliet asks

"Yeah" I nod them giggle "I would ask how old you are but I don't wanna be rude"

"I'm twenty nine" she laughs "it's not rude hun"

"Okay"

"So, what do you do... performance wise?"  She asks, I think she's happy now that she knows I'm sixteen and not trynna snatch up her mans

"I play guitar, and sing mostly" I nod

"Sing for me" she giggles

"I'm better at guitar then I am singing" I shake my head

"Ashley!" Juliet shrieks

"No no no no not again" I say holding my sides laughing

"Yeah... oh hey it's Andy's cousin" he smiles

"Ya ya, get your guitar I wanna hear her play" Juliet smirks

"No don't" I argue

"What, can you not play?" She crosses her arms

"I saw her play-"

"Shut it Purdy" Juliet interrupts him, and he throws his hands up

"Fine, Get the fucking guitar" I groan, she was really annoying me

"What kind?" He asks

"All guitars are the same" she spats, and him and I start laughing

"I need an acoustic tuned down a step" I tell him

"Half step or a whole step?" He asks

"Whole"

He comes back a few minutes later and hands me a gorgeous and shiny acoustic

"Thanks" I smile, then start picking out today I Saw The whole world, it's kind of my go to song

I start strumming, then sing "Baby, pour over tell me are we concrete" Ashley smiles at my playing and sits by Juliet, who right away scoots away from him. I continue playing until I reach the bridge, then I pick out every tab fast, and go into "Zero friends"

At this point I've acquired an audience, Juliet looks mad because Jake and Jinx have now joined us. And as the song comes to an end, Andy and two other men.

"That was great" Jake smiles, he had been in the bus early when I had played with Jinx and didn't get a chance to hear me

"Yeah... great" Juliet fake smiles, then gets up and walks to the bunks

"So is this the girl who filled in for me?"   Jinx smiles

"Yeah, and I'm trying to get her to go on tour with us" Andy smiles

"That's awesome" Cc comes out from the bunks

"I'm probably not gonna be able to though" I sigh

"Well Amanda, there's a fifty fifty chance now... our manager said yes, we're about to drive to your house" Andy smiles

"What?!" I stand up with the biggest smile glued to my face and I start laughing hysterically "fuck ya"

"What's your address love?" The driver chuckles

I tell them the address and soon enough the bus starts moving. "Thank you so much Andy" I  put my hands over my mouth

"Let's just hope your mom says yes"
