Andy had told the manager who Cole was and printed out a ticket for him, which was set aside at the front gate. I had got a call from Cole when he was five minutes away, so I walked over to the gate.
Andy gave me my own name card to make sure they wouldn't kick me out, and I felt hella official. It's amazing to think that a few days ago the only reason I was alive was because I was waiting for Warped Tour. And now, I'm touring on Warped Tour. I never thought I would make it in life, but here I am...
"Hey" I smile at one of the officers
"Hi, are you Amanda?" He asks, I guess Andy told him I was coming
"Yes" I nod
"Once your friend gets here, walk right back into the bus area, and have Andy take you to the side of the Left foot stage to let you back out" he explains
"Okay thank you"
It was even hotter today then it was yesterday, so I was wearing shorts. But I was okay with showing a little skin around Cole. I mean, he's seen my skin before so he knew about all the scars, I just hoped Andy didn't see them. Or anyone else in the band.
I had on black high waisted shorts, and black converse high tops, with a tie dye warped shirt. My hair was braided back into half up space buns, and my makeup was pink based.
"Hey!" Cole cheered, knocking me right out of my thoughts and I smiled
"Hey"
"This him?" The guard asks
"Yes" I nod
"Here you go" He hands Cole his ticket and Cole thanks him
We walk into the bus section and I tell him "We have to go back to my bus first"
"Your TOUR bus?" He asks, and I shrug casually
"Yeah"
I was trying to play it cool, and it seemed to be working because he was impressed, "That's sick"
"Yeah, I share it with Andy" I tell him
"The lead singer of Black-"
"Veil Brides Yeah, and of course Cc and Jinx, and everyone else who's in his band"
"That's so awesome"
"Yeah, after we go to the bus I gotta but a schedule, gotta know which bands play when so we don't miss the good ones" I sigh
"Okay" he agrees, then I knock on the bus, and Andy comes out
"He said you had to take us to the side of the left foot stage to get back in" I tell Andy
"Okay, and before I do that I have to give you something" He smiles "come in"
"I just wanna say I love your song knives and Pens" Cole tells Andy "the drumming was sick"
"You know back in that album they had a female drummer?" I ask Cole
"Oh that's cool"
"I'm happy to hear fans still listen to our old songs" Andy chuckles
"Amanda actually got me into you guys, that was the first song I ever heard by you"
"Cool" Andy nods "Amanda, so I talked to my manager and he's being a dick, said your only gonna get paid one grand, so to make up for it I bought you this"
Andy hands me an iPhone eight and I gasp, putting my hands over my mouth. "I got you a waterproof case, and it's already activated, I know you had a five one oh number, but now it's a nine two five"
"Andy, I don't know what to say... you didn't have to... thank you so much!" I hug him so tightly and he smiles
"No problem kid, don't loose it"
"I wont" I take the phone he handed me and my wallet, then he walks Cole and I to the gate
"Andy seems really cool" Cole smiles as we walk out, side stage
"Yeah, I haven't known him that long, but he's already like a big brother to me. Oh! And guess what?" I smile
"What?" He asks
"You know how Pierce The Veil's my all time favorite band?" I ask him, he already knows though, because I always talk about them
"Of course"
"He's taking me to meet them at the end of Tour!" I squeal
"You lucky bitch" he gasps, I giggle and playfully slap his shoulder
"I'm so happy Cole, this is a dream come true"
"I bet" he side hugs me "I'm really happy for you
We walk over to the booth and Cole buys us a schedule (I only went to the mountain view one so I really don't know who plays when, and some of these bands I'm saying are playing don't even play at this stop, like Asking Alexandria).
"Ah dude, Pennywise is playing soon" Cole smiles, I had never seen him this happy before
"What stage?" I ask
"Journeys... left foot?"
"Oh that's the stage we were just by, come on, let's try and get as close as possible" taking a leap of faith, I grab his hand, and the day has just now begon
