The air was chocking my nerves to the very core. Mt. Lady was laying under piles of rocks, completely unconscious. Several of pro heroes were defeated and I couldn't even move.

The ones left standing were All Might and Endeavor, I felt disgusted that I couldn't do anything to help, I was a pro hero after all.

"This isn't over!" All Might yelled, his blue eyes glistening with anger.

The villain, All for One, was preparing for a huge attack. I didn't think anyone could survive this.

I slowly managed to stand up, limping my way forward. My leg was badly sprained by the collapse of a building.

I saw Endeavor fighting off Nomu's, my eyes started to tear up. "All Might!" Endeavor burned off a Nomu's head. "There are more here!"

My eyes blinked with confusion.

More? What more?

I stared at the wall Endeavor was pointing at, I could see a faint shadow of a person.

"Shit!" All Might just barely dodged another attack, making the ground shake. I fell to my knees, clutching my mouth.

It was at that moment I remembered something, something he said to me before leaving for that mission.

"Whatever happens, protect the students. That is your top priority, I can't lose them, especially him"

I gave him a wide smile in return.

"Don't worry, I will not let that happen!"

That was a promise, no matter how badly injured I was, or what the situation was. I was to protect and save them, as long as I can stand, there was nothing holding me back.

A painful groan escaped my mouth as I started to walk towards the wall. All Might saw me and pushed forward, but was stopped by All for One.

"Y/n! Stay back, it's not safe" The number one hero yelled as he was pushed backwards.

I looked down to the ground.

"I'm keeping my promise All Might! I will not them die" I jogged over and saw Midoriya crying in vain.

"Get him out!" Endeavor was harshly pushed into a wall. I frantically tried to activate my quirk, but I was out of stamina, I had reached my limit.

"Midoriya!" Todoroki suddenly yelled, he used his ice to block an attack from a Nomu.

It appeared that after the students saved Bakugou from the villains, Midoriya ran back to help All Might and then Todoroki went after to stop him.

"[Hero Name] get them out! They aren't supposed to be here!" All Might crossed his arms to block the attack that was supposed to hit me and the students.

"Midoriya, Todoroki! Come with me" I pulled them behind a large stone as a loud explosion was caused by the villains.

"Y/n-San are you okay?!" Midoriya grabbed my shoulders as I started coughing.

"Midoriya, what were you thinking?!" I spat out, his emerald eyes widened. I was a kind and caring hero, and was a teacher at their school. Never had they heard me raising my voice.

"I-I couldn't let him die! H-He.." Midoriya started crying, muffling his voice with his hands.

Todoroki pat his back carefully. "We can't to anything but get in the way"

the dual haired male gazed at me "I can take him"

I shook my head "No, what if you get hurt? Let me help you out" I pleaded the dual haired male.

"You're injured [Hero Name], you'll end up hurting yourself more" He interjected.

"I'm sorry, it's my fault" The green haired boy wiped away his tear stained eyes. Shouto narrowed his eyes.

"Let's get out of here"

"Shouto!" Endeavor yelled as something crashed the wall beside us, things did not look good, All Might barely stood up from the rubbles.

In a flash Endeavor rushed in and grabbed the two boys.

"All Might no!!!" Midoriya cried out as he was pulled away to safety with Todoroki.

No...please stop

I stared up at All for One, his manic smirk sent chills down my spine. Endeavor was busy running to safety with his son and Midoriya. I was badly beaten and now All Might was barely breathing.

There was nothing I could do.

"Aw—would you look at that, if it isn't [Hero Name]" The villain chuckled.

I gasped and stood in a fighting stance, barely keeping my eyes open. My quirk wouldn't activate, I didn't stand a chance.

"I'm going to enjoy killing you~" He laughed as his multiple quirks activated.

A tear slid down my cheek as I turned around to look at All Might. He weakly opened his eyes to whisper something, but I didn't hear what.

"I'm sorry" I breathed out". The lights started to burst behind me. "I failed you" My eyes painfully narrowed.

"D-Don't...get away while you can" All Might had long ago revealed his weak form, but I didn't care.

All for One released his quirks at me with full force. I turned around to give All Might one last smile before my faith got sealed.

"Heroes always smile, All Might..."

With that, a white light eliminated my body. All Might yelled with aggravation, but it was too late.
There was nothing left.

The villain started to laugh maniacally. "Oh All Might, where is that smile!? That girl died for you, be a little grateful and fulfill her last wish!"

All Might stood up, his eyes were covered by a dark shadow.

"I will not let your death be in vain Y/n"

He charged towards One for All. The one he loved had left him, fighting was all he could do.

"I love you, I'm sorry I couldn't tell you"

That was his last words.
