< Katsuki x Reader | Birthday

It was Katsuki's birthday, you and your classmates had prepared for a cute surprise in the classroom. You where bottled up with joy and butterflies in your stomach, so nervous for his reaction.

So now you were silently sitting under your desk, waiting with anticipation. The room was dark, only a few whispers and snickers could be heard. Izuku had been assigned to keep Katsuki busy in the morning so you could make the last preparations for the surprise. Poor boy was so scared for the task, but after some convincing he obligated.

Flashback

"Izuku I beg you please! You're the only one who can keep him occupied just for a few moments" You pleaded the young boy.

"Y/n- I can't! He will kill me" Izuku waved his hands in front of him, his lips slowly trembled.

You put on a stern face and decided to put all your pride down, for Kacchan you would. This day had to be special for him, you always admired his strength and passion to become the number one hero. His aggressive outburst always made you laugh with full truth. So for him, you needed Izuku to be brave and talk to the fierce blonde.

"Izuku I beg you with my life, please help me make this day perfect for Katsuki" You bow completely down and rested your head on your hands.

Izuku's eyes widen, he started to wave his hands around frantically. Not in his wildest dream did he think that a girl would bow to him, he felt beyond shocked. Although he thought it was kind of cute how you would go to all lengths to make Kacchan happy.

"Okay Y/n I'll try my best!" Izuku smiled widely, if you were doing your best then he felt inspired to do the same.

You look up with the biggest grin "Thank you! We'll make this his best day ever" You stand up and hug the flustered boy. That was a promise to be kept.

"Hey tell me, what got you so inspired to do this for Kacchan?" Izuku raised an eyebrow, you slowly pulled away.

Bright sunlight shined from the window, a small breeze waves through the open windows "He just inspires me to do my best, so I guess it's a way of paying back" You give a closed eye smile.

The door slowly creaked open. "Let's go in Kacchan" Izuku's voice could be heard.
"Hurry up nerd, I've already wasted enough time as it is" Katsuki's gruff voice responded, you silently chuckled. He always needed to have an insult.

Ohh~Kacchan

As soon as the Izuku put on the lights, everyone jumped in the air. "SURPRISE!"
Firecrackers and confetti sprouted the air.

Izuku giggled and looked up at Kacchan's expression. He was shocked at first, but looked down as a sweet smirked placed on his lips.

"Happy birthday Bakugou!" The majority of the class shouted. Mr. Aizawa slept in his sleeping bag under his desk, not bothered at all by the noise. He had given us 30 minuets to host the little event before going back to studying. Which was really nice of him.

The boys gave Katsuki bro fists and laughed with him, while you went up to the desk and stood excitedly by the cake. "Hey Katsuki! Come here" You waved enthusiastically at the boy, he looked up from the crowd and walked over.

"Well well, I get a birthday cake also?" He put his hands in his pockets and smirked.

"Of course! I-I made it myself...I hope you like it" You chimed in, pulling out a fork.

You could say that you were Katsuki's number one fan, you were always close to him and pretty much followed him everywhere. You often found yourself to make him delicious lunches and kept him good company. Katsuki didn't see you as a rival, more like an equal. He knew your intentions were pure and you didn't want to take him down or give him competition. The reasons for his superiority complex to blow up.
No, you stood by his side, he didn't want to admit it but he enjoyed your company a lot. He indeed had a soft spot for you, like he needed to protect you even though he knew you were more than capable of that yourself.

Katsuki took a bite of the cake, everyone watched with anticipation. Your stomach was filled with worries. He put the fork down and looked at you emotionless. "I liked it" He simply justified.

You grinned widely and fist pumped in the air, everyone cheered with joy. "I'm so glad Kacchan!" You beamed, but immediately put a hand over your mouth. Never had you called him by that nickname, only Izuku was allowed to do that. The class gasped, Katsuki had a slight agape mouth. "I-I'm so-"

You felt a pair of strong hands around your waist as you were suddenly embraced by the fiery blond. "Wha" You managed to breath out.

"Awwee so cute!!" Mina clasped her pink hands together with heart eyes. More awe and whistles erupted the classroom, your cheeks were on fire.

"You know...only that shitty nerd Deku and you can call me that" He pulled away to look at you, his brows slightly furrowed.

"Really!? Thanks Kacchan" You giggled sweetly. Everyone gathered up to eat your delicious cake, after that you all played a few birthday games. Everyone had so much fun.

Some students started to clean up the confetti, Katsuki yelled in victory over winning the finale game. You chuckled at his cuteness. He went over and sat on his desk, you followed him and stood in front of him.

"Was it a nice surprise" You smiled kindly at your best friend. He crossed his arms and tilted his head to the side. "You planned all of this?" He asked.

"Well I got some help of course, but yeah" You gently played with your h/c hair, stealing a few glances at him.

Katsuki's cheeks tinted with a pink color, you gasped silently. Never in this world would you imagined Katsuki blushing. It was adorable.

"Listen here shorty...come to my place after school" He avoided your stare. Your brain exploded with surprise, had he just asked you to hang out at his place?!

You chuckled "Okay Kacchan, I'll be there" The excitement filled your body. The blonde boy took a moment to look at your features, his eyes felt soft upon seeing your beautiful smile.

Katsuki's hand moved to ruffle your hair, you giggled at his gesture. He smirked "You better~"

"Of course Kacchan, was this a nice birthday surprise?" You asked with hopeful eyes. The boy's lip curved into a small smile, he wanted to slap himself so many time for showing you emotions that he never showed anyone before. But he had a deep soft spot for you, he couldn't hide it anymore. And he was going to make sure that no one else was going to have you. You were to precious to him now.

He brought his hands around your waist and pulled you into his chest. You got even more flustered when his soft lips kissed your forehead, so much love and compassion just by that simple gesture. "Kacc-"

"Shush you idiot, just don't.... ever leave me" He mouthed the last part in a whisper. You heart melted by his lovely words. You felt the boy's grip tighten as you stood between his legs.

"I'll never leave Kacchan" A tear escaped your eyelid.
Looks like you made this his and your perfect day after all.
