  you opened your apartment door, thankful that you lived alone. 

one thing your group was good for was complaining or being loud sometimes, and it annoyed you to no end when you used to live with them.

if you were still living with them, you might've already 'accidentally' slapped someone in the face. 

of course, you loved them with all your heart, but they would often act as if they were the maknae's.

it was already midnight. you were sweaty and tired.

all you wanted to do was collapse on your comfy bed and sleep until noon but no, that's not how the life of an idol works. you had a photoshoot tomorrow, and on top of that, it was jungkook's birthday the day after that.

you hadn't even gotten him a gift yet. what a horrible best friend you were. suddenly, something popped into your head. you remembered being bored on your day off, not wanting to feel gross and like a potato for sleeping the day away, so you made a huge list of the possible things kookie could've wanted for his birthday.

you sprinted to your room -despite your sore legs- and fished into your drawers.

"aha!" you cheered, holding up the sacred list in your small hands.

kookie's bday plans (suggestions);

amusement park day

a neon shirt (just to screw around with him)

white shirts because he's obsessed with them

a friendship bracelet (kookie !!)

lamb skewers

a puppy

surprise bday party (with fireworks !!)

a kiss

  you blushed profusely. you must've been drunk when you wrote the list, especially the last idea. 

with a sigh, you slid your finger down the list, thinking of how some of those things couldn't truly happen. jungkook probably thought of you as a friend. with a deep, heartbroken sigh, you put the list in your pocket.
