"first stop; wherever you planned to go." he said, starting up the car.

you sighed as you gave yourself sweater paws, letting the soft, oversized fabric brush your arms.

jungkook had taken out a pair of black skinny jeans, a red hoodie (with jungkook's initials where your heart was) and your timberlands that jungkook had bought you for your birthday.

your timbs, admittedly, had been collecting dust in the back of your closet. jungkook dug them out like a man on a mission, and gave you a pout when you admitted that you don't often wear them.

you eyed jungkook's outfit as well.

he was wearing matching black jeans, his timbs, and a matching red sweater, but this time, over his heart, your initials were stitched on it.

you remembered when you both had purchased the sweaters during christmas more as a gag joke that the both of you concocted , but you had both been busy that you'd never gotten to wear them together, in the presence of the other.

"i can't believe we've actually matched our outfits." you said, you said with a giggle as you scrolled through social media on your phone. jungkook laughed, giving you a very cute smile.

"well, where to first, y/n? what should we eat for breakfast?" he asked.

"maybe i should drive."

"but i wanna drive you!"

"kookie~" you said, he cut you off by suddenly trading seats with you. little did you know, it was so you wouldn't see his blush. you made him crumble whenever you called him by his nickname. without another word, you drove to your first surprise.

"you remembered!" he shouted, scrambling out of the car and accidentally tripping over his own feet.

you laughed as you helped him up.

"of course i did. it was where we finally became best friends as trainees."

"we ate breakfast here ever other sunday." he said with a wistful smile, remembering the times when they could go out in public without cameras being shoved into their faces. 

"but fans-"

"i called the owner. it's only opened for us right now." you said, grabbing his warm hand and leading him into the very restaurant he knew he had fallen in love with you in.
