"i have to go to a photoshoot right now, but in an hour, we'll continue your birthday celebrations." you said, handing jungkook a small gift bag.
he whined.
"why do you spend so much on me? just so you know, i'm gonna make it my personal mission to top this birthday and take the 'better best friend' throne." he warned as you waved everyone goodbye.
"you can try." you said playfully, laughing at the look of determination on jungkook's face.

you smiled as you walked into your manager's car.
"how was it?" she asked, giving you a knowing smile. you smiled brightly.
"it was fun, but just wait until tonight." you said as she drove you to your next destination.
