Saturday
"Abigail! Liberty! Justin!" I hear yelled through the house as I squint at the sunlight streaming through the curtains.
"Abi." I roll over and shake her. "Wake up."
"Go away." She groans, curling further into the blankets.
I toss a pillow down to the mass of human at the foot of our bed. It mutters choice words before muttering, "Go away."
I roll my eyes.
"Breakfast is ready! Hurry up!" Abi's mom shouts.
I get out of bed, rubbing the sleep out of them. I have to wake them up now before Abi's mom came up here and sees their hungover butts.
I pull the blanket off of Abi. "Give it back!" She complains, hugging her pillow.
I move over to Justin, grabbing his blanket and pulling.
"No!" He groans, pulling on the blanket, causing me to stumble and almost fall.
I let go and huff.
Crossing my arms, "If you don't get up right now, I'm going to dump cold water on you."
"Whatever." I hear Abi mumble.
I smirk.
So she doesn't believe me?
I step over a now snoring Justin and into the bathroom. Filling up a cup with cold water, I walk back out and over to Abi.
She is curled up, hugging a pillow with a slight smile on her face.
I roll my eyes as I think about what she's probably dreaming about.
"Hey Abi." I call out sweetly.
"What?" She asks groggily, not bothering to open her eyes.
I stifle a laugh, "You thirsty?"
She furrows her eyebrows, opening her eyes slightly. "Am I —"
Before she has a chance to open her eyes completely or finish that sentence, I throw the water at her face.
"Liberty! What the —"
"Language!" I shout.
She glares at me.
I shrug, "I warned you."
"You're an —"
A knock at the door cuts her off. "Abi! Liberty! I know you're awake and if you dont get that lazy boy up and come downstairs in five minutes, there wont be any food for you."
I look at Abi and her eyes hold slight panic, "No food? Hurry up!" She runs over to Justin and kicks him. "Wake up!"
I laugh. Why didn't I think of that?
"Abigail!" He groans.
She smirks, "If you dont get up right now, I will hide all the Tylenol and drag you by the feet down the stairs."
His eyes fly open, "You wouldn't dare."
"Breakfast is at stake here, Justin." I call out, "Don't test her."
He groans, knowing I was right.
Finally, we make it downstairs and after breakfast, Justin leaves. Abi and I invite Michelle over.
I think back to last night and I know I have to talk to the girls about what happened between Patrick and I.
I know I need to talk to Patrick about it but that's the last thing I want to do.
