Initiate Katniss

Chapter Nine

Four's POV

I wake up to Katniss still being asleep and she kinda did deserve an extra five minutes. So I grabbed a black shirt and pants as I went to shower.

Katniss' POV

I've got an elastic heart,because I never thought I could love someone so much as I love Four,but I feel like that I have to be careful.

I stare at the walls,"Fear God Alone" was everywhere,my cheek hurt as well as my head. Because Peter dropped me acting like a bitch when Four showed up and saved me. I thank him for that,because he would've been fishing my body out from the Chasm and he'd have to tell my family that I'm dead and Prim...she would be so damaged.

The thought of last night sent shivers down my spine.

"Morning."Four says

His dark hair wet as I smell the aftershave in the air,I sat on his bed my legs crossed. His hands are scraped and a scratch mark on his cheek.

"Drew?"I ask him

"That is none of your concern,Catnip."he says

"Did you just call me Catnip?"I ask him

"I thought it's your nickname like you call Prim little Duck."he says

"Well you aren't aloud to call me Catnip."I said

"And you aren't aloud to call me Four."he says

"Than what do I call you?"I ask him

"You'll find out."he says

"Four,don't be stubborn."I said

"Fine,follow me."he said

After I got ready for the day,I keep my hair down as I follow Four into the simulation room. He brushes my hair away from my neck.

"Don't be afraid."he says

"Don't underestimate me."I said

"I know."he says

He injects a serum and he taps a part on his neck and I inject it there.

And soon,we're in a room that's squeezing together. I slam my fists against the walls as they slowly crumble down. Four's arms wrapped around my waist,as the next part-we were free falling in the air. He held onto me as we fell into another part there was a woman kneeling before him. I took the gun away from him and shot myself.

The next part,I stood in front of him as I see Marcus with a belt-Four was Tobias. I take the belt away from Marcus as Tobias punches Marcus.

But words haunted me.

"Just kill me already."

"This is for your own good."

I wasn't going to treat Tobias any differently,he was still the same person I fell in love with. But if I see Marcus again I'm kicking some ass.

We woke up.

"Four fears then and four fears now."I said

"Yeah."he says

He looks at me.

"What?"he asks me

"I'm not treating you any different. Your still the same person I fell in love with. I'm not going to treat you like a kicked puppy when I know your better than that."I said

"Katniss."he says

"See if I'm lying."I said

I look him in the eyes.

"Say it again."he says

"Tobias I,Katniss Everdeen..love you."I said,quietly

"And I,Tobias Eaton love you too."he whispers,in case of eavesdroppers

He kisses me,my hands holding his face close to mine. I have never felt so in love with him like I do right now.

At breakfast,Tobias sat down with other instructors as I sat down with my friends. I felt someone touch my shoulder. I turn around and see Al.

"Katniss I swear we were trying to scare you,and we didn't mean for it to get out of hand-"

"Touch me again and I'll kill you because you are such a coward-I thought you were my friend."I said

He opens his mouth but nothing comes out,he walks away.

Since we were throwing knives today,all of my anger of last night absorbed into that. I can never think I felt so angry. I hit the head on the target about six times. Al who was in between me and Christina,kept missing the board until Eric called it off.

Though I hated him-I took his place. Tobias threw a few knives. And it didn't hurt me.

He wouldn't cut me.
