So far, Travis hadn't had a drink in two days, which was the longest he had went without one in a while.

"We're finally doing this!" I jumped on Travis excitedly. He brushed the hair out of my face, and smiled at me warming my heart.

"We're so close aren't we?" He asked as I nodded fiercely.

We had saved up enough money to pay for the fine and rent an apartment for the first month by the end of June. We would split the rent, and it was Two hundred fifty a piece. We were moving out in a couple of days. It needed a little work done to the 3 room apartment, but we were happy with a fixer upper. We were just gonna paint the walls cause the paint was old and chipping.

"When should we get the paint? Tomorrow is our first Saturday off since we started working. I think we should start tomorrow." I rambled.

"Okay, Firecracker." He said the nickname that had seemed to stick a couple of weeks ago but felt like months. He kissed my nose and I smiled.

"Late night trips to walmart are the best trips to walmart!" I shouted as I threw up my hair and slipped on my shoes.

"We worked all day long, and you're already wanting to go back." He groaned.

"Come on, babe." I whined as I grabbed his hand and pulled him off my bed.

"I get a kiss." He negotiated.

"Fine." I said as I kissed his cheek fast. "We all win."

"That's not what I meant." He muttered from behind me.

"Well next time you'll just have to clarify." I said. He grabbed my waist and swooped down and left a kiss on my lips that resulted in me breathless.

"Was that enough clarification?" He smirked.

"Yes. That's what you'll have to start doing." I laughed.

We drove all the way to walmart in the quiet as I looked at the lights become visible out the window.

"We're here. What colors are we even gonna get?" He asked confused.

"Bedroom is gonna be dark blue, living room/dining room is gonna be purple, and the kitchen is gonna be teal. I think we should do ombre' stripes with the purple though." I thought out loud.

"Okay baby whatever you want." He said as he kissed me again. I rolled my eyes.

He grabbed my hand as we walked into the place for once we weren't working. Whisper was the door greeter and she sent me a smirk as she looked at our interlaced fingers. I play glared but kept walking.

Some lady I had never seen got us all our paint and I gave her a thankful smile as we headed to check out.

Whisper was now the only person available at check out. I rolled my eyes and gave her a smile as we put the paint on the conveyor belt. Travis was too busy getting drinks to hear her say "Just friends; let's explain that hickey." I looked down and there was a small bruise on my collar bone. I gasped.

"I could have got this from anyone." I said blushing mad.

"You could have got what from anyone?" Travis asked putting a monster and a mountain dew on the belt after the paint.

                "No-nothing." I stuttered.

"Just that hickey on her chest there." Whisper smirked at me but smiled genuinely when Travis looked at her.

"It's not a hickey." I muttered wishing my hair was down to cover it up. I pulled my shirt neck up and Travis pulled it back down revealing the little bruise.

"That, Dear," He paused touching it. "Is a hickey. You couldn't have got it from anyone, cause I specifically remember giving it to you this morning." I gasped and hit him.

"Shut up." I scolded. He chuckled and it almost made me forget I was irritated at him. Whisper rang up our total and never got that stupid smile off her face.

Travis packed the paint and I packed our drinks.

"You don't want everyone to know that I gave you that?" He asked looking away.

"It's not that. It's Whisper, she embarrasses me and I didn't want to give her the satisfaction but you went ahead and did." I muttered defeated.

A major filler but the next chapter will make up for it hopefully. They'll actually be at their apartment and I can't wait. I love you guys, thanks for reading and please give it a vote/comment. -you're home dawg; A-bug. (jkay that's just what my friend calls me) ;)
