Chapter 3

Kai started lifting his head up and when our eyes met his were...RED. I can't believe this, what the hell is he? What's going on? Is this a prank? If it was a prank why did I dream about it? Is he even human? I was so lost in my thoughts I did see him get up and start walking towards me. When I finally noticed I backed away until he was in the door way and I was almost at my desk, I looked right and left there was only one chance of running away and I have to take it now. I took off running to the right and down the hallway. I finally reached the stairs "Lily" I heard him say and I turned around to see him walking towards me, I turned around again and ran down the stairs.

I stopped on the 10th to catch my breath because running 15 levels isn't as easy as they show on TV and in movies. "Who are you?" a voice said making me jump and look behind me so the stairs were behind me now. A very handsome and attractive guy stood in front of me but there was enough space between us to fit at least three people. "Who am I? Who are you?" He doesn't work I'm sure of it because I've never seen him here before "I asked you first" He pointed his finger at me making me flinch "It's none of your buisness" I said harshly not wanting to show him that I was scared "Well it is now" he walked closer to me "Don't move" I yelled and held my hands in front of me "I just want to know you name sweatheart" He chuckled darkly "I said don't move" I said when I noticed he was trying to move closer "Lily" A voice said from the stairs that I just walked down from, I looked up and saw Kai, of course it's gonna be him "Her name is Lily" Kai said smirking as he walked down the stairs standing beside me making go more to my right away from him "Who are YOU?" I asked looking the other man up and down "I'm Kris" he walked closer as he said his name. When I saw that he wasn't stopping and was almost in front of me I tried waslking backwards forgetting about the stairs and BAM I fell down the stairs. "LILY" Was the last thing I heard before every thing went dark.

Kai's POV

"LILY" I yelled as I ran down the stairs and my eyes turned back to their normal color. "Lily" I said as I reached her and crouched down "Lily" I shook her shoulders but she still didn't wake up. Oh god this was not supposed to happen. Father is going to kill me. I didn't even want her to find out. Why did she come back? Did she know that I was feeding off of Rose?

"KAI" Kris said snapping me back to reality "huh?" I looked up at him "Lets take her to your house right now" He was talking too fast but I knew that we had to do this because she could die and we can't take her to a hospital because she may tell them about what happened "I'll take her" I said scooping her up and held her bridle style as I stood up "No I'll take her" Kris tried to take her from me but for some reason I backed away from him and growled at him, he looked at me confused before realization took over his face "Sorry" I mumbled "It's okay. lets go" he said about to walk down the stairs "Rose" I said making him stop and turn to look at me "She's still alive. Can you finish her off?" I completly forgot about Rose "Don't worry I got it" He ran upstairs with his super speed. "Hang in there Lily" I said as I adjusted her between my arms. I glared at the blood that was now running down her head and on my arm and down to the floor. I ran back home as fast as I can with my super speed now hearing her heart beat slow down. Please stay alive. Wait why would I care if she died or not?

We arrived at my house and I almost broke the door as I barged in "FATHER" I yelled almost panicking now because I could barley hear her heart beat. Father came running down the stairs with mother following him and they were both in their sleep wear. "Lily?" he questioned when he saw her between my arms "Who's she Kai?" Mother asked as her and father ran to me to check on her "What happened?" Father asked glaring at me "She fell down the stairs" I answered as mother pushed me to the living room "Why is she even with you Kai?" Father asked as he helped me place her on the couch "She was at the company for some reason-" I was cut off by father "And she saw you feeding on someone and was trying to run away right?" he asked and checked on her to see if she broke anything "Not completly" Kris said walking in and over to us "What do you mean?" Mother asked standing straight "We met at the stairs" he said and walked up stairs "Where are you going?" I asked him not wanting any other disasters for tonight "To call the others" he said from the top of the stairs.
