Daeun's POV:

I smiled as I saw Taehyung and his girlfriend looking around for me at the returant we're gonna eat lunch at. Jisoo smiled when she found me and pulled Tae as she walked over to me.

"Hi" She smiled softly as she hugged me before sitting down. Tae only smiled before sitting down. "I missed you" She whined cutely as she fake glared at me causing me to chuckle at her childness.

"I'm sorry. It's just I've been a little hard at work you know" I laughed as she nodded her head causing her hair to hit Tae in the face making him make a very funny face.

"Oh belive me I know" She whined. Jisoo is a detective even though she's very cute and soft but when it came to work she's the strongest woman you'll meet in your life. And I'm just like you guessed a police officer that goes into the battlefield as we call it between us officers.

"How have you been Tae?" I asked turning to the boy that has been quite this whole time. "It's been busy in the hospital too" He said before the waiter came over to our table taking out orders and leave.

"I heard about what happened to your best friend. I feel very sorry for her" Jisoo said causing me to nod in agreement. Lily didn't deserve this kind off thing to happen to her. I swear I'll chop off Kai's dick when I see him for hurting her.

I huffed angrily at the thought of what Kai did to Lily causing Jisoo to laugh at me while Tae only chuckled.

"Excuse me. I need to go to the bathroom" Jisoo excused herself before getting up and leaving me and Tae alone. "Is everything okay?" I asked him cause he looked kinda down and there was clearly bags under his eyes.

"I had a night shift yesterday and Jisoo insisted on me coming here so I didn't sleep more that 3 hours" He whined causing me to burst out laughing cause he looked like a little kid whining because of his mother.

"Daeun?" A voice behind me spoke spooking me a bit. I turned around to see Chanyeol and Lay standing there. Lay gave us a small smile being polite while Chanyeol just glared at us.

"Oh Hi guys" I stood up looking at them confused as to why Chanyeol was angry. "What are you doing here?" I asked looking at them starting to feel anxious cause I could feel anger rolling out of Chanyeol.

"What are we doing here? What are YOU doing here? And with HIM?" Chanyeol asked turning his glare from me to Tae.

"We're here for lunch" Taehyung said in a duh tone causing me and Lay to go into alarm mode as Chanyeol got even more angry.

"Why yo-" Chanyeol started but was stopped by Lay who pulled him out of there. "I'm so sorry" I apolegized before taking my things and walking out to see Lay talking to Chanyeol who was just glaring at him. I walked over to them and stood in the middle which obviously looked ridiculous because I was shorter than both of them.

"What was back there?" I asked glaring up at Chanyeol who glared back. "Oh sorry did I ruin your date with your EX" He asked harshly causing me to flinch. "YES. You ruined my date with my EX and his GIRLFRIEND" I said causing Chanyeol's face to turn from angry to confused before pushing him and walking past him.

"Wait" He pulled me back by the arm and looked at me with regret on his face but I just shrugged his arm off and continued walking angrily away from there. "Please wait Daeun. I'm sorry" I knew he was holding back because of all the people around and wasn't using his vampire speed to catch up to me as I walked.

Why does he care if I was with my ex or with another guy at all? I've been dropping hints since I started relieving my feelings for him and now when I finally understood it was imposible and started giving up here he is running after me trying to get my attention!! That's so not happening.
