Chapter 9

It was a saturday morning which ment no work not like Kai is actually letting work ever since we found out that I was pregnant I was band from work because as the doctor said heels are not good for a pregnant woman nor is standing up a lot or sitting in the same position for more than an hour and work causes stress and stress would cause miscarriage and blah blah blah. I was bored out of my mind since all I could do was sit in my room read a book or go down stairs and watch tv and both are boring. I sighed as I closed the book that I just finished reading seriously this was driving me crazy everytime I try to do something someone pops up out of nowhere to check that's it's not something dangers now I feel Hayoon. I used to tell her having extra attention is not bad when she comlains but it seems I was wrong. I stood up already excpecting someone to jump through the door "Where are you going?" Chen asked as he walked into my room and I couldn't help but smile when I saw his bright smile "I don't know. I'll just walk a bit" I pulled my coat on as I walked over to where he was standing "Call me if you need something" He said cheerfully making me chuckle at how cute he looked "Sure thing" I said kissing his cheek before walking down the stairs and out the door.

I've been walking for almost two hours now but I didn't care as I was looking around and actually enjoying my peacfull time that was suddenly interopted by someone running over to me and stopped in front of me and I looked up to see Kai "There you are" He sighed and hugged me "What's wrong?" I asked pulling away confused "When I got back home you weren't there so I desided to find you" He said kissing my cheek "I told Chen I would be out for a walk" I giggled as nuzzled his head in my neck "For two hours" I just shrugged looking around "I was enjoying the peacfull time without being told what to do or eat and talks about babies" I said shrugging again and started walking again and Kai walked beside me and took my hand in his as we walked together "Lilly you know we're just worried about you and the baby" He sighed and looked down at me "I know it's just that it's gotten a bit over board and I needed a break" I looked down feeling a bit gilty for upseting him but at the moment I just needed a break from babies I already feel presure thinking about a life living in me and soon it will be a living thing in my arms that needs to be looked after "Lilly we're only doing this since the doctor said that the pregnancy was a hard one" Kai stopped walking making also stop "I know it's just- nothing" I looked down as I took a deep breath "I'm sorry" He said making me look up "For what?" I asked not really knowing why he was apologizing for "For making you feel sad" He said pecking my lips making me smile "It's okay" I hugged him making him chuckled before we walked over to his car that parked not far away and went back home.

"Where were you?" Mrs. Kim asked the moment we walked in "Out for a walk" I said looking at the guys behind her with a puzzled look but they just shrugged "Lilly you you're not supposed to tire yourself" She scolded me as she glared at me making feel a bit angry "I just wanted some peacfull time" I said trying to show my anger seriously hormones are the worst one minute I'm sad the next I'm mad then I'm happy "You could have walked in the back yard" She said pointing to the back door. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself and Kai seemedto notice my mood "We'll talk later mom" He said pulling me away from her and up the stairs to our room."Calm down love" He hugged me knowing just one of his touches could turn my mood from mad to happy "I just feel stressed" I sighed at the contact of his palm on my cheek as we pulled away from the hug "You're not supposed to feel stress" He said trying to imitate his mothers voice making me giggle "I know a way to take the stress away" He kissed my forehead "Which is?" I asked smiling at him "How about I tell everyone to calm down and act like you're not pregnant" He said making jump up and down in excitment now I know that you'll ask why don't I just tell them you see I'm still not one hundred precent comftreble with them at least not all of them. "Does that I mean I can come back to work" I never excpected myself to ask that question in my life "No" He said with a serious face "Why not?" I whined feeling a bit sad "Lilly just because you're not being treated as a pregnant woman doesn't mean you're not" He scolded me and I just nodded "Now get ready" He messed my hair before walking to the door "For what?" I asked dtopping him "Oh yeah I forgot to tell you. Our cousins are coming over for a visit" He said face palming himself at how stupid he was stupidly cute, I should seriously stop. I almost giggled at my thoughts making Kai confused but shrugged it off "Which one?" I asked teasing him since he had a lot of cousins and by a lot I mean a lot he even has cousins he never met personally since they're like hundreds of years old and decided to leave for other conturys or they were touring around the world "The ones that you met" He chuckled at the question. For some reason I felt excited to see them again I just thought that maybe I'm just excited to see Shownu's fiancé who I became close with her after the engagment party. I ran to my closet and started searching for something to wear "Just wear the black dress we got from Greece" he said pointing to a black dress that matched his shirt "You wore that on porpuse didn't you?" I shook my head as he smirked and walked out of the room to give me some space to change which was so unKai like but he's been less Kai like since I got pregnant trying not to make me angry or stressed which was so cute of him.
