Here we see a younger (Y/N), no more than ten years old staring up at a figure who's face was blurred, sitting high above him, a disapproving look on his face while Gwen was beside (Y/N) also looking up at the mysterious figure.

(Y/N): Dad?

Dad: I... I believe it's time... you should know what to do when the time comes (Y/N), I'm getting older, maybe too old to continue doing this, that's why I'm passing on the responsibility to you.

(Y/N): What!? But, Dad! I don't want this responsibility! I just want to keep playing with all my friends, like Gwen here.

Gwen: Yes, I must agree with (Y/N); he needs more time, he's not ready for this role sir, so please...

Dad: No! I've already decided! My responsibility becomes yours tomorrow (Y/N), you have no choice because of how important this is.

(Y/N): But Dad, you're still...

Dad: What I say goes young man! Now, no more discussions! Tomorrow, you better be ready.

The figure, now known as (Y/N)'s father suddenly disappeared leaving both (Y/N) and Gwen in a floating black void, (Y/N) looked down with tears of frustration showing in his eyes, Gwen immediately wrapped her tail around his tiny body, concern overwhelming her as her partner was for once, sad.

(Y/N): Gwen?

Gwen: Yes young partner?

(Y/N): You'd follow me no matter what, right?

Gwen: Yes.

(Y/N): Then... what would I say, if I ran away from all this?

Gwen: I don't mind, I'll follow your wishes, however, I don't think your father...

(Y/N): Who cares what he thinks!?

Gwen: Nor your sister would approve...

And that's when (Y/N) quickly went silent, his face contorted into guilt. He clenched his fist, torn of what to do now... that was until...

???: Don't worry brother...

Her voice came from behind him, he didn't turn to face her though.

???: I will always support you, (Y/N).

Her hand was now on his shoulder, he still didn't turn around.

???: (Y/N)? (Y/N)? (Y/N)!?

(Real world)

Erza: (Y/N)!?

(Y/N): Huh!?

The older boy looked up to see Erza's concerned eyes... who was in front of an unreal amount of luggage, it made (Y/N) go slightly wide-eyed before shaking his head and attempt to regain his cocky smirk.

(Y/N): What's the matter beautiful? Can't a guy admire beauty itself for a while?

Erza: You were looking at the trains...

(Y/N): Trains can be beautiful too y'know.

Lucy: Don't think she's falling for that...

(Y/N) looked around and saw he was currently sitting on a bench next to Lucy and Happy with a small rucksack on his back... yesterday Erza dragged (Y/N) to test his skills saying how his magic alone wouldn't make him a powerful wizard. When (Y/N) showed his bo staff wielding Erza was more than convinced to allow (Y/N) on this mission with them... even if he didn't want to go.

Erza: I saw you yesterday, who are you?

Lucy: Oh, I'm a new member, just joined the other day, name's Lucy, it's nice to meet you!
