"Hey, did you ever talk to Cal about Declan?"
"Here. Eat."
"You know I don't like burgers."
"Well it's all I could sneak from the diner. You need to eat. Stop valuing your relationship over your health."
"I've never felt this way about someone before. It's confusing and intoxicating and frustrating and every other word I can't come up with. I wish he would just talk to me."
"You can always go over to his apartment."
"No. If he doesn't want to talk to me then he definitely doesn't want to see me."
"I really thought this would work out for you two, this relationship. But Declan has been hurt more times than anyone I know, and I have a feeling that factors in to what is wrong with him."
"What do I do?"
"I say you go see him. There's a reason why he's avoiding you and you have the right to know what it is. There are two people in a relationship after all."
"What if he doesn't want to see me?"
"Then that's his loss and you need to let him go. The longer you two keep this ignoring going the worse it's going to take a toll on both of your health."
"How is he?"
"Worse than you. Cal said he plays video games all day in his room except for when he has to work."
"Do you think I did something?"
"You'll have to see for yourself, hun. Go see him. You need closure."
"Thanks Lils. This is why you're my best friend."
"I love you too. Now eat up bitch."
