Your POV

Luke and I went inside the Mystery Shack. It was some sort of gift shop but it had the strangest things, you could tell they were all fake though.

Luke: This place is stupid cool!

You: It's just fake artifacts to get people to waste money.

Luke: That's why is so stupid cool!

You: It is interested. I wonder who works here.

We go our separate ways in exploring the weird room. Some of the things just plain stupid, others were actually quite interesting. I started to look around as I walked and bumped into something. Or someone.

Boy: *drops the book he was reading* I-I'm so sorry!

You: Heh, it's ok. *pick up his book* Here.

Boy: *takes his book* Thanks.

It was the guy from the diner, the one that was with Mabel.

You: Hey, I've seen you before. You're the guy at the diner! The one that Mabel was with! I'm guessing you're her brother?

Boy: Oh, heh, yeah. I'm Dipper.

You: (y/n), it's nice to meet you.

Voice: DIPPER WHERE ARE YOU?!? I MADE A SWEATER FOR YOU AND I WANT YOU TO TRY IT ON!!!

You: ...?

Dipper: That's Mabel.

Mabel: *enters* THERE YOU ARE!!! Here!!!!! *gives Dipper an indigo sweater* Try it on, try it on!!!!

Dipper: Uh, Mabel? *nods*

You: *give her a small wave*

Mabel: *gasp* (Y/N)!!! *hugs you tightly* It's good to see you again!!!!!!

You: *trying to breath* Hey Mabel, it's good to see you too.....!!! But I think I'd like to breathe now.......!!!

Dipper: Mabel!!!

Mabel: Oh! *lets you go* I'm so sorry, I don't know my own strength!!!

You: Heh, it's fine, you just caught me off guard.

Luke: *walks over holding a mask* Hey (y), what do you think of this?!? *puts on the mask* Makes me look mysterious, right~?!?

You: It makes you look like an idiot.

Luke: *takes off the mask* You're mean!

Dipper: Um, I don't suggest buying that mask, it gives you rashes. Trust me, I learned that the hard way.

Mabel: He once got curious and put it on!!! His face was red for three days!!! *laughs*

You: *hold you laugh*

Luke: *drops and kicks the mask to the side* Ew. *notices Mabel and turns beat red*

Mabel: What are you guys doing here?!?!?

You: Well, me and my brother were on our way back home and we saw this place and were like: *in a dumb sounding voice* "Hey, this seems cool, let's check it out!"

Mabel: *laughs at the voice*

You: *normal voice* What about you guys?

Mabel: We work here!!!

Luke: Really?!? That must be so cool!!! This place is awesome!!!

Dipper: Not the words I would you use to describe it.

Mabel: *gasp* Do you maybe like, I dunno, work here?!?

You and Luke: *look at Dipper and Mabel both confused and intrigued* 

Mabel: We've been looking for some new employees recently!!!! You guys should totally work here!!! You only need to know how to work a cash register!!!

Dipper: Mabel-!

Mabel: Pleeeaaase?!?!?!?

You: Well, we do need a way to earn money.

Luke: And I don't want to be all day stuck inside the house.

You: *smile at Luke before looking at Dipper and Mabel* I guess we can try. Do we have to go through an interview-?

Dipper: You just have to talk to the manager.

Mabel: I'll go get him!!!!! *runs off*

Dipper: You guys don't have to if you don't want to.

Luke: We need a job anyways, and this seems like an interesting place to work.

You: That is if you're all ok with us working here.

Dipper: It's been pretty boring, it would be nice to work with some new people.

Just then, Mabel came in with a man behind her. He was a bit chubby, and had tanned skin. He wore a tux along with a maroon fez hat.

Mabel: Soos, these are (y/n) and Luke!!! Guys, this is Soos!!!

Soos: 'Sup, dudes. So Mabel told me you guys want to work here?

You: If you have any room for us.

Soos: We sure do! I just need to ask some questions first. One: do you know how to work a cash register?

You and Luke: Yes/Yeah.

Soos: Boom, you're hired. You start tomorrow. See ya, dudes. *leaves*

You: ...

Luke: That's it?

Dipper: *shrugs* Yeah.

Mabel: *shrieks* YAYYYY!!! *hugs you and Luke*

After that, Luke and I went back home. I can't believe we got a job that fast. But then again, this town was all sorts of weird. Luke was excited to work, and to get to know Mabel. I was actually excited myself, the place seemed cool. Plus it had been a while since we had some new friends.

Dipper's POV

Mabel has been jumping of excitement ever since (y/n) and Luke left. She couldn't wait to see them.

It was dark and we were in our house getting ready for bed. I take a book and laid on my bed, trying to distract myself. Ever since earlier, the thought of (y/n) wouldn't leave my mind. It was strange. And yet, I couldn't wait to see her the next day. Why?
