You arrived back to me,
seasonally, again and again.
We would sit on the roof
and reminisce of our time apart.I would be comforted by the crisp air
awestruck at the horizon.
You claimed that you were made of snow.
Because your intentions were always cold. But if only you knew, that you were my sandman.
You gave me pleasant dreams, like presents every night.
I know you still care about what we once had.
I know you still ponder about what we could be.I would let you back in any day.
Even if you leave again.
You could break me apart.
But I'd give you the broken pieces,so you could glue me back together,
just to break me again.
But until you want back in,
I'll wait right beside you.Looking into your eyes,
the place I found my favorite color,
while making small talk,
on top of our world.I know that even if you leave,
you'll come back to me, forevermore.
