Chapter 6: Euphoria

"Rise and shine now, Jungkook-ah." Jungkook was agitated when he felt a soft kiss entrenched on his nose in the middle of his sleep. He felt too lazy to even wake up as he tries to shun from whoever was waking him up. He wanted to sleep more. He couldn't bring himself to open his eyes. "Jungkook-ah."

"Please." Jungkook grunts as he tries to go back to his sleep. Jimin chuckled finding Jungkook too cute in the mornings. Excitement surely takes over him as he realizes he'll get to see Jungkook like this—how he reacts from being awoken up—for the rest of the week.

"Please what?" Jimin teased as he poked Jungkook's cheeks to bother him more from his sleep.

"Sleep." Jungkook's body felt a little bit bushed and for an unknown reason. He must have found it too uncomfortable to sleep in a sitting position. He held the finger that was prodding his cheeks and didn't lose his grip on it as he tried to drift himself off to sleep again.

"Jungkook-ah, you have to get up now. It's already 9 in the morning." As soon as it registered in his mind that it was actually Jimin's voice that was waking him up, his eyes opened in an instant and the first thing he saw was Jimin and his appealing smiles. Jungkook's eyes widen as he realizes he was actually with Jimin. He immediately let go of the older's finger, flushed at the thought that he's with Jimin as of the moment.

"Jimin-ah!" He exclaimed out of surprise as the older laughs at his expression. Jimin kind-heartedly pinched his nose and giggled.

"Let's go now, shall we? I heard that restaurant's the best on town when it comes to breakfast servings so I brought us here. I didn't asked for your confirmation anymore, you were having too much fun with your sleep, and how could I even dare to interfere. Such a Snorlax." Jimin teased him as he giggled. Jungkook felt shy with Jimin's remarks as he composed himself from his position and rubbed his eyes to keep up a clear sight through his eyes, his vision a bit blurry from sleep.

And it was only then that the whole night they've spent together and their plan of going on a road trip processed in his mind. How they spend the entire night stargazing at the Green Hummocks and—Jungkook felt his cheeks burning the moment he remembered how they both kissed.

He couldn't even look straight on Jimin, he felt too nervous.

"You look as if you've been caught for your crimes, is there something wrong?" Jimin asked the moment he noticed the young man fraught for an unknown cause. The moment Jimin held Jungkook by the arms, such interaction caused Jungkook to panic more as his heart beats abnormally swift. "You're not freaking out or anything, aren't you?"

"N-no," Jungkook stuttered. It seemed like Jimin gets the hint of it, as if he kind of knows now why Jungkook became like that soon as he laughs like a kid. Jungkook felt more frantic the moment Jimin moved closer to him with his face an inch or two apart from his.

"You're not thinking about our kiss last night, are you?" Jimin playfully mumbled as he wryly smiled at the young man. Jungkook stiffened at his position, not knowing what he should do or how he should react upon the older's statement.

"I-I'm not!" He defended himself from such humiliation that was devouring him. Jimin snickered as he kissed Jungkook on his forehead. It made the young man blushed.

"Don't be shy about it. Such moment was too enchanting for you to be ashamed of." Jimin said as he winked at him and went out of the car. Jungkook couldn't utter a single word nor move at all. Jimin was definitely being too mischievous and sweet he couldn't keep up with it. But he couldn't suppress a smile forming on his lips. Either way, he knew he was enjoying it.
