Jimin wasn't really able to fulfill his words, ended up falling asleep before the sun even rises from the horizon. As they went back to their tent, to Jungkook's amusement it was as if in a blink of an eye, Jimin was already fast asleep. All that was left for Jungkook to do was to sleep right beside the older.
But unlike Jimin, Jungkook couldn't delve that well into his sleep, only took him like half an hour before he wakes up again. There he was left with no choice but to just stay still and admire the angelic view of Jimin who was heavily slumbering right beside him.
Jungkook carefully moves the strands of hair of Jimin that were resting on his face, dispersed, placing it at the back of the older's ear to prevent it from blocking his features. It's only 2 days ahead and they're going back to their hometown. Jimin's graduation is already coming. The young man doesn't really know what to feel, especially that it's definitely blurry as to whatever's waiting ahead of them. Their parents may discipline them and forbid them onto meeting each other. It was definitely a frightening thing if it does happen.
But of course, he won't let that happen. And he knew the older won't either. The world may see them as nothing but the heirs of the opposing side of business industry, nothing but rivals, but it doesn't matter. After all, it's the love that overpowers it all. Jungkook trusts them and their love for each other. That even if it's going to be them against all odds, they'd be able to conquer it.
He couldn't help but smile sheepishly as he stares at the older, realizing how dreamy he was with his thoughts. He may sound delusional, but he didn't mind. He's more than willing to stay like that for as long as it's Jimin. After all, the older was like a mirage in his life that's now right here before his eyes. He'd do anything to keep the man with him 'til the end.
"We're in this together, right?" Jungkook whispered, seeking for assurance as to how they both will deal with whatever's waiting for them in the future of uncertainty. Jimin didn't respond, especially that he was still asleep, but Jungkook knows it will always be a 'yes' from Jimin. He just know, no need to prove it.
He believes in them. But he'd be lying if he say he's not afraid. He knows he had fallen for the man too deep, it was impossible to dodge from it, nor does he plans at all. And he fears the thought of losing him the most. Just thinking about breaks him to core, what more if it really happens?
He slips his hand right on Jimin's hands and he intertwined both of it. It felt warm. It felt as if it was where his hands rightfully belong. It felt like home. He slowly squeezed it and held it tight as he kisses Jimin right on his forehead.
Whatever they'll have to face tomorrow and ahead, no matter how uncertain it'll be, there's one thing Jungkook's sure of. He'll never let go of this hands he had found his haven within. He'll never let go of this man who changed the world and his prospect for him.

"I remember when I was a kid, someone once told me about a legend relating to this festival, the story behind the Lantern Festival," Taehyung commenced as he shares his knowledge to Hoseok, Jungkook and Jimin. The four of them were currently at the shore, sitting by the sand in a half-circle formation, waiting for the highlight of the festival to begin around 6:00 in the evening. It was already 3:06 and they didn't really have anything to do further and so they've decided to stay by the coastline.
"You've never told me about this one before," Hoseok said as he adjusts himself to stare at Taehyung and gave him a questioning look. Jimin smiles as he finds the two adorable together, while the young man right beside him just gazes at him, admiring how he glows whenever he beams.
