It felt wistful. Jungkook, standing from a distance holding on to his champagne, taking a sip on it while watching the elite people who randomly talks about business, it was always like this. Like he's so used to attending business parties, and so tired at the same time. But it's not like he could drop it. It's how his parents wanted it to be. Him, associating with these people who speak with so much voracity and greed within their voices.

Only this time, a glint of anticipation stimulates inside him. He knew, it wasn't any mere business parties he was attending. It was not the same business parties that were driving him insane. This time, he knew Jimin exists in it. And never was he interested to business parties ever since at all, not 'til Jimin came and altered such perception he had.

He roamed his eyes around the venue but no hint of Jimin's appearance. But he cared less, he knew sooner or later the older will arrive at the hall. Instead, he had his mind brooding about the Prom night.

It had been like weeks already since that very night, three weeks have passed to be exact, but every moment he had created with Jimin still feels so alive and fresh from his memory. That beautiful moment as if the world had come to a halt, and then there's the two of them dancing under the magnificence of the moonlight. How they both danced like there's just the two of them, how their surrounding magically slowed down like those they've watched from the movies, Jungkook couldn't inhibit a smile forming on his lips.

Throughout the past weeks, nothing special really happened. Well, every moment he spends with Jimin felt special, he assumed. He could feel his blood rushing to his cheeks with his cheesiness. He shook his head as he sips once again on his champagne.

The past weeks went pretty normal, right exactly the moment school year ends, all he did was to stay by the penthouse, or wander around the city together with his hyungs, spending some quality time with them. Jungkook never felt so alive before. It was just yesterday when he was just that guy of a freak who pessimistically sees everyone alike to his parents and their associates but now, he made some friends. Friends whom he knew he could trust and cherish so much. It was all thanks to Jimin.

"Jimin, you're seriously driving me crazy." Jungkook muttered to himself. The school year have already ended and all there's left to do is to wait for the recognition, and the graduation which he heard was happening next week, he wasn't really sure. He felt proud, he was definitely going to attend the graduation of Jimin, and the man's snatching the top spot among their batch again, like how he usually does.

"Son, we need to talk." He was surprised when his mother approached him all of a sudden. It was an unusual thing for his mother to do, he'd say. He never really had a strong bond within her mother, well he had but it didn't last long, not 'til his mother and father started to shove up to him all these corporate things even at a very young age.

"What is it?" He politely asked as his mother grabs him by the arm. It was kind of suspicious, like something was off but nonetheless, he didn't want to conclude things. He waited for whatever his mom was going to say.

"I've heard you've been hanging out lately with Jimin," He felt his heart race like a stallion. He knew anytime this was coming, he knew a time will come that he'll be confronted with his bond with Jimin, but to know and to experience it was a whole lot different to discuss with. Fright took over his presence.

"That's true. What about it?" Jungkook tried to speak casually, acting like it doesn't really bother him. But inside him he's panic-stricken. Fearful of whatever his mother has to say about it. The tension he felt heightened by the mere sight of his mother frowning.

"What do you mean 'what about it'? Are you out of your mind? He's a Park, for Pete's sake." Jungkook was growing tired of all the rivalry and shits that was going on between Jimin and his family, but his mother's threatening voice terrified him. It was calm, but hostile.
