The light of the full moon shone through my open window, creeping across the floor and up the wall slightly. The air outside was cold making the tree branches rustle and my breath visible as I panted in fear. It was getting louder now- the voices, the chanting, the screaming.

They'd be coming for me soon. The moon was nearly in position. Why did I come back? I did I dig deeper? I should have left well enough alone, but I've always been curious.

At first it was just one girl. A girl I knew from the neighboring sorority, but had never spoken too. Next it was a girl I shared smiles with in passing, and then it was that girls room mate. Every few weeks another girl in a sorority would disappear and no one was talking about it. We were all terrified of course, but the last years always said to let it go. I should've taking that as a hint.

I knew these girls. I saw them often, though I wasn't close with all of them. I knew them. I was even willing to keep all my opposition inside, that is, until Jane. My best friend, Jane. She was the last to go missing... before me.

The whole house was invited to the biggest frat party of the year. I went only to ask around about the disappearances. I though the boys might talk since the girls wouldn't, and with all the alcohol buzzing in their veins I figured everything would go perfectly. No harm, no foul. God, was I wrong. I was so wrong and so, so stupid. I should have kept my mouth shut. The moment I spoke to that random guy I knew. I saw the way his eyes found the other boys from across the room. I saw how they glittered with excitement when I asked to talk to him alone.

It was stupid that, even after getting that gut feeling, I still went somewhere secluded with him, but I had to find out what was going on. I guess I got the answers I was looking for though. I'm in the middle of it all now.

He lead me outside to a 'quiet place where we can talk freely' that turned out to be the back of the frat house. Before I even knew what was happening another boy caught me from behind and smothered my with a chloroform rag. I woke up here.

I'm not sure exactly what is waiting for me downstairs, but I know what ever it is it's big and deadly. The only thing that scares me more than the growling and snapping is that the screams i've been hearing have finally stopped.
